Minecraft has been on Switch for a while; the one that's "coming to" Switch is sort of a weird update/replacement (afaik, people who own the original Switch Minecraft get it for free).
Anyway, as someone who owns and has played plenty of both here's some points:
- The Switch version has limited world size, as opposed to the (practically) infinite PC world sizes, but unless you're a pure nomad this doesn't matter that much
- Mouse/keyboard is a bit more precise, obviously, but playing with a controller surprisingly isn't too bad
- The Switch version can't officially be modded, but the PC version can
- The Switch version will always be a bit behind content-wise, since the PC version always gets updates first, with console versions coming later
- The portability aspect of the Switch version is real nice
I would mostly recommend the PC version unless you think you'd really prefer playing it on your Switch. The latter version is perfectly fine, but simply doesn't have the same advantages.
