I'm going to stick on 3.0.2 on the off-chance of coldboot or something. But you could update to remedy the sleep mode issue I suppose. Patients its probably best though.

Every firmware is supported. Just update your Switch

then update your switch dumdum

I have a few concerns about updating:

- i read that with 4.xx and up the firmware also update the catridge slot too and i will have issues if i use catridges with emunand or if i downgrade.

- Atmosphere is not out yet, if i update maybe i can't use the "software only" mode and i will have to use the rcm jig hack.

- Maybe i will wait years to get certain hacks or homebrews, for example "SwitchIdent 0.1" says :"Firmware and Kernel version – You can’t see the Kernel version on FW 4.x.y" https://wololo.net/2018/06/13/ninte...d-checkpoint-updated-to-3-3-0-with-a-new-gui/

- And also everyone says that the lower firmware the better.

But if you say that my better option is just conect the switch to internet, update the console and the exFat and play some Fornite and i will have hekate and Atmosphere with the only issue that i have to use the rcm jig hack then i take the shoot.

You can't downgrade unless you use hacks to launch it, which nullifies the point of downgrading.
You need to keep your sysnand as low as it can be if you want an eventual software exploit. You can update your emunand when it comes out. It's your choice if you want to wait.
