Has anyone managed to access this game from any exploit? Will there be way to incorporate it in versions 4.xx and 5.xx?
Previously on 3.0.0, you could hijack the internal clock via Pegaswitch in order for it to run with the right button combination. Theoretically, that would most likely work on 4.0.0 and 5.0.0 due to the advent of RCM mode. However, in 4.0.0, Nintendo stubbed the program and replaced the executable with garbage data. Meaning effectively, even if we tried, the program was removed.Has anyone managed to access this game from any exploit? Will there be way to incorporate it in versions 4.xx and 5.xx?
Its better to have it via emulator the version that you are looking for is not complete just a couple of levels or one I think if I remember correctly
Wasnt the actual package fully REMOVED from the switch? Thats what I heard anyway?Previously on 3.0.0, you could hijack the internal clock via Pegaswitch in order for it to run with the right button combination. Now though, is where things might get a little bit interesting. Currently, Hekate runs under a barebones version of Atmosphere, and uses a method of title replacement to boot HBL. By going into the atmosphere folder, you can see that the Album title is being modified and turned into HBL rather than "exploited" into being that.
Theoretically, if I'm thinking correctly, someone could just dump Flog as a title package, extract it, and we might be able to replace another title applet with the NES Golf game through Atmosphere's patching method. Considering that title is just an applet in of itself. Of course, Atmosphere is in a very early state, as with Hekate, so there might be some issues.
Anyways, other than that little tidbit, Flog is effectively gone from the Switch without any use of title replacement codes.
I thought if that flog could be an official Nintendo emulator running the game of Golf. It is also interesting the sound it makes when they launch it. If it is not an emulator then it is not worth following this thread. Still, it would be interesting to know how the flog is programmed to run on Switch.Previously on 3.0.0, you could hijack the internal clock via Pegaswitch in order for it to run with the right button combination. It was filled with garbage data to prevent it from being executedWasnt the actual package fully REMOVED from the switch? Thats what I heard anyway?
