Hi. I made an account just so i could make this post, so yeah.
I saw a four year old thread about this, but the thing is, at the end it said just plug the controller in after the game starts, but the game im using (CupHead) detects it no matter what. specifically what im trying to do is to play cuphead with a usb n64 controller (idk why). the in-game controller setup doesn't work right for the controller im using, so im using JoyToKey to simulate keyboard presses. but the thing is, when i move in the game, it detects it and thinks its a 2nd player joining in. im wondering if there's a program or something that will block controller inputs to certain programs.
