Has anyone else got this issue? I have tried 2 or 3 different jigs, multiple times tried to get into RCM with them but it always boots straight into normal mode each time, I'm starting to wonder if theres something wrong with my switch or is it dodgy rcm pin placement? I know it is supposed to contact pins 1+10
I know the exploit definitely works as I managed to get into RCM using the tinfoil method which obviously uses pins 9-10 but wanted to go with a JIG for ease of use etc
Any ideas please?

why you even making a topic about this?

if you have launched rcm before, and now you arnt able to. thats just a dead giveaway... you are not making proper contact. so your jigs are dodgy

Was only asking as I wanted to know if anyone else had the same problem, as I don't want to keep spending money on jigs that don' work, and as I don't want to mod a joycon, the tinfoil method isnt exactly 100% foolproof either

Don't worry its fine, I didn't really explain properly before, so I can understand your point
Do the pins on the jig need to be pointing slightly more up than they should?

UPDATE:
With your suggestions above I managed to put together my own jig using a strong piece of metal shaped in a U, works perfectly tested a few times with no force and every time it boots into RCM
Who needs a 3d printed jig anyway :D

AutoRCM is an option for those who don't want to use jigs. If you install AutoRCM, your Switch will boot into RCM automatically when it's powered on. The downside is you cannot use your Switch after turning it on unless you have a way of loading an RCM payload through the USB-C port. In other words, with AutoRCM installed, if you power off your system and turn it on, you will be stuck in RCM until you load a payload.
