Hi guys. I have Destiny 2 on PS4, but not for PC. My PS4 version is just standard/base game, no expansions or anything. Is it worth picking up PC version and Season Pass? My PC is a laptop, but an MSI one that is designed for games. Here are my laptop specs:

- Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 with 8GB VRAM
- Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz
- 32 GB RAM

Thoughts and help greatly appreciated :)

I personally would say no. I had Destiny legendary edition on PS4 and got bored of it pretty quick. From what I've heard Destiny 2 is pretty much the same. So, if you liked the first one you'll like 2. If I where you I'd save the money for the steam summer sale or something.

Ok, thanks for your thoughts and info. I was thinking about getting it, but lately have been reading on bungie forums that lots of people are getting black screens on game startup, mainly on laptops I think? Not sure what to do now...

you should be able to handle it fine as long as it has good cooling. i would personally say go for it since its only 12 dollars with the humble monthly bundle, so you will get bonus games first friday of next month too.

If you're curious, you can try playing for free. There's a trial.
But if you really want to buy the full game, you can get it at humble bundle monthly for $12. That's the cheapest I've seen so far.

I'm not a fan of Destiny. I've only played the first one and the trial on the sequel.
There are still better games out there.

What about the black screen issue people are experiencing that I found on bungie forums? It is mostly happening on laptops, which I have...

download the free trial and see for yourself whether you like it or not, or to see if you have issues with it

simple as that

the trial is lengthy so you will get a good impression

and it let's you play multiplayer

Not many people play it, though. You really have to like that type of game, its grindy. Very grindy.
