Hello everyone! I am back again with a simple guide on how to install Homebrew and the Custom Firmware on Switch using Windows! I see that many people are having issues using the Chrome method that is out right now. Well, I found the answer for you all! I combed through different youtube how-to videos and other sites and found what I have for you all today. Below you'll find a .Rar file with everything you need for the Windows method of installing CFW and the HomebrewMenu.

LINK TO RAR DOWNLOAD (All in one download)

INDIVIDUAL DOWNLOAD LINKS:

Download these files if your switch has firmware 4.1: (any 4.x version supported) here
Download these files if your switch has firmware 5.0.2: (any 5.x version supported) here
Nintendo Switch APX mode drivers for Windows: here
Download link to TegraRcmSmash tool is in video description, couldn't get it to link here

GUIDE

(YOU WILL NEED A USB-C CABLE THAT CAN PLUG INTO COMPUTER FOR THIS TO WORK)

Step 1: Find your preferred method of putting the Switch into RCM mode (Jig, Paperclip, Tinfoil etc.)

Step 2: Install the files from the Nintendo_Switch_APX_Mode folder by clicking on "InstallDriver" Application

Step 3: Copy everything in Folder 1 to the root of the SD Card you are using for homebrew

Step 4: Once everything is installed and placed in the correct spots, put the Switch into RCM mode by holding the Volume up and Power buttons down for 3 seconds. If the Nintendo logo doesn't appear then you're good!

Step 5: Plug the Switch into your computer. Open the HACKING folder and click once on the file called payload.bin. Now drag that file onto the application titled TegraRcmSmash

Step 6: You may have noticed your Switch screen has very small text on it. That's good! You can scroll through the text by pressing the Vol up and Down keys. You can hit the Power button to select menus. Select the menu that says "Select Firmware" after that, scroll down to where it says CFW. That's the Custom Firmware that you need to run homebrew. Once you select that you're all done! Go to the Albums menu on your Switch and load up the HBMenu!

Good job giving zero credits to the actual creators of those tools that you mentioned in your tutorial

Plus I would link to the actual threads so people are directed to the most up to date version of the tools
