Hello, can I buy a generic USB iphone cable to use on my NS without the fear of brick him? I'll use the cable with powerbanks and connect with PC in the future. I search for iPhone cables with Switch but I didnt find anything.
Maybe he thinks iPhones use USB C instead of lightning?
iPhones dont use USB-C, so no.Hello, can I buy a generic USB iphone cable to use on my NS without the fear of brick him? I'll use the cable with powerbanks and connect with PC in the future. I search for iPhone cables with Switch but I didnt find anything.
Yes that will work.I'm lost and I need to know if there is a more popular device that uses the same type of cable as the Nintendo Switch need to recharge. I live in Brazil and it is difficult to find a spare cable with 56k ohm resistor.

This cable will work?
Yes that will work.
(By the way, if you buy a procontroller you will get a official nintendo cable with it)
uh, I use a Galaxy S8 USB A to C cable.Yes but its too expensive here, I'll try this announce cable but im afraid of the 3rd docks bricks.
uh, I searched for the cable on Ebay and found it is a 1.2m cable. How long?
Just make sure not to buy usb-c china crap. If you have a phone with usb C, you can use the official cable for it. Im charging my switch with samsung s8 cable.Yes but its too expensive here, I'll try this announce cable but im afraid of the 3rd docks bricks.
My phone has a Micro USB sadly.Just make sure not to buy usb-c china crap. If you have a phone with usb C, you can use the official cable for it. Im charging my switch with samsung s8 cable.
It's funny that you say that. I have a ZTE phone with a usb-china crap and it works just fine.Just make sure not to buy usb-c china crap. If you have a phone with usb C, you can use the official cable for it. Im charging my switch with samsung s8 cable.
Any well made cable will work fine no matter the price...It's funny that you say that. I have a ZTE phone with a usb-china crap and it works just fine.
The best is really to use USB-C only chargers\power banks.
USB A to USB C will lock switch into low charging mode, it takes more time and it just doesn't work to play+charge...
If you get a powerbank with power delivery capable of 15V with a few amps you not only will be able to charge and play, but you will also be able to power the dock with it and it will also let you play portable using powerbank battery instead of the Switch battery like the original charger which will make you able to stay at 100% battery while playing.
Quanto custa a Switch aí no Brasil?
Any well made cable will work fine no matter the price...
The thing is good branded cables don't make mistakes while some cheap ones can look pretty good outside but be made as the usb 2.0 500mah inside making a kaboom situation on any high wattage device out there.
Also nintendo report to use 56K ohm USB cables... Others might work well but inside might be making damage by each day that passes... There's a real huge amount of bad Switches out there with charging problem where the charging chip just went bad.
And I also don't have a clue why they are frying as the chip is made by Texas instruments if I'm not mistaken and they are known to make pretty good stuff since like the electronics shown up.
In fact it's already proven that bad usb cables can blow anything, specially when it's usb-C 15V devices with high wattages and cables internally design to use less power.
Ps: On cheap low power devices I use any cheap cable, but my expensive Switch I'd rather just buy the cheapest certified USB-C I can find, it doesn't also need super expensive cables but rather well made cables...
The issue is the potential lack of a 56kohm resistor, making it potentially dangerous. It's funny that you say that. I have a ZTE phone with a usb-china crap and it works just fine.

That's expensive, but way better than the PS4 when it came out jeez it cost 4x minimum salary where you live in Brasil .I searched for 56K ohm cables but didnt found one with this specification, the sellers dont know what this mean. I bought the Switch in march for 1320 R$ (360 U$).

I don't think anyone will report the cable's ohms...
A usual bad sign is very thin Usb tips.
I think some ppl measure the cable specs using their android phones, but I sadly don't have any USB C device, not even my father Samsung J7 2017 comes with USB 3 type C and my phone is from 2014 and usb 2.0 Micro USB
You think its safe use a cheap cable just for send payloads or maybe transfer backups?Same feeling here bro .
I also just received today an AMAZING looking USB C to USB A 3.0 cable very cheap from eBay, but I won't be using it to charge my Switch it's just for sending payloads...
But the cable really has huge plugs and looks premium for the price, but hell who knows what's inside lol and the bag even looks like Nintendo, red paper with white letters.
When I get a powerbank I will go to a local store and just buy a certified cable the cheapest one though I can't deny I would prefer to get my hands on the original Nintendo USB Cable cable, but I can't find it for sale .
