I'll post the test version of kernel and firmware in this thread. please reply the bug report in it too. please don't reply off-topic post.

Test version updates very frequently, it will add new functions, quick fix of known issues. But it may be unstable with unknown bugs. It is not suitable for beginners.

Use it at your own risk.

bug report template

1. Game console type
2. Firmware version
3. Kernel version
4. MicroSD type
5. MicroSD format
6. MicroSD cluster size or allocation unit size
7. Bug description
8. Bug reproduce steps (This is very important, only the reproducible bug can be fixed quickly.)

Now testing kernel 1.04 and firmware 6

current version kernel 1.04T1 firmware 6 display 99

T1
Removed Fire Emblem series autosave in the battle, only manual save and chapter save can be saved.
Added a new save-states mode with better compatibility. just check the save-states mark only. there is no in-game menu. L+R+SELECT = SAVE. L+R+START=LOAD.

Common to both:

1. GBA SP
2. 3
3. 1.02T2
4. Sandisk 4GB SDHC
5. Fat32
6. 32KB

Bug 1:

7. Sonic Spinball Party US boots to white screen.
8. Boot with Addons or Clean Boot, with A or with L+A, Save <Auto>

Bug 2:
7. During fade out, Reset Menu can be invisible.
8. In Metroid Fusion in game, Hold L, Press Start, and when the screen is black R.

Is this due to a GBA special effect and not fixable? I don't see a note about it in the manual.

bug 1. it was fixed in firmware v4
bug 2. the in-game menu render shares GBA gamma register. it can be fixed late.

they are the VC (virtual console) games. can not use add-on function, the GBA video series also can not use add-on.

Firmware version: v3
Kernel version: 1.02T2

Bug description:
A-Z sorting places special characters last rather than first. This runs contrary to the EZ4's file-list, and most file-sorting conventions, where it is useful to add a special character to a folder's name to ensure it appears at the top of the list.

Reproduction:
Create a folder such as "_ROMS", it will be displayed beneath other folders.

Is the new version 1.02T3 or 1.02T4? The link downloads 1.02T3.zip as opposed to 1.02T4.zip

Edit: I went ahead an installed it and it's definitely 1.02T3, is this the version you meant to release?

Hi @EZ-Flash2,
could you please tell us what you are currently working on? Since the new patch came out, there has not been any news on new developments or test flights.
Would like to hear from you and the current regression.

1. GBA SP AGS-101
2. 4
3. 1.02T5 and T4
4. Sandisk 32GB SDHC Class 10
5. Fat32
6. 32KB
7. Metroid Fusion, Zero Mission, Mother 3, All Kirby, Advance Wars and Castlevania Games
8. Saving these Games does not work on an AGS-101 model, no matter how long i wait after saving, playing on an AGS-001 runs perfectly fine and the games save

Games like TLOZ - Minish Cap and Super Mario Advance 2 save correctly on both systems

Would a option to hide "CHEAT", "IMGS", "PATCH, "RTS", "SAVER" in omega menu be possible? Theyre not really necessary to choose a game

EDIT: I set the folders to invisible in windows and they dont show up anymore

I bought the EZ Flash Omega and it had the Version Firmware 3.0 and Kernel 1.01

1. DS and DS Lite
2. Firmware 4.0
3. Kernel 1.02 final
4. Sandisk 2GB, Sandisk Ultra 32GB (Class 10, UHS-I, SDHC) and Samsung 32GB (Class 10, UHS-I, SDHC)
5. Fat32, Fat16 (Sandisk 2GB only)
6. 32KB
7. Always freezes when playing longer (mostly 30min and higher).

Sometimes play after the 30 minutes and turn off the DS device and turn it back on for a few seconds or 1 minute later freeze again.

In the moment it freezes. You can still hear the sound of the game. But mostly it is broken.

8. Tested with:
0755 - Metroid Fusion
1452 - Metroid Zero Mission
2185 - Pokemon Emerald
2422 - Ultimate Spider Man

A Downgrade not fix this problem.

Sorry I have this details forget. I bought the EZ Flash Omega and it had the Version Firmware 3.0 and Kernel 1.01.
It comes again and again this error (always freezes when playing longer - mostly 30min and higher).

Then I make an update to latest firmware (4.0) and kernel version (1.02). But the problems are not fixed.

Still as power hungry as before.
1. Original GBA. No screen mod or anything.
2. 5T
3. 1.03T
[The ones you posted above]
4. Sandisk 8GB class 2.
5. FAT32
6. Default Windows format, not sure offhand.
7. Original game minna no tetris got 0.09A in normal play. Same game mode on Omega 0.20 to 0.22A on NOR and about the same on RAM. Clean boot both times. This is the same that I got in my older tests.
It did write to NOR on this mode, though the power it drew during this was even higher -- 0.3A at times. During boot it gets as low as 0.15A which would be far better.
I tried some other original games just in case that was really low or something.
Prince of Persia sands of time European version was about 0.12A in game. Denki Blocks 0.08A. MotoGP 0.10 to 0.11A.

I DID NOT mention any power consumption adjustment in the changelog.
to be fair, you said "Full firmware refactored" which might include some improvements in terms of power consumption as well. :)

Either way: I can confirm the NOR is now usable on the original AGB-001 GBA Model. I can also confirm saving seems to work allright on a European AGS-101 GBA SP Model.

It is not rude to anyone. full code refactored means all exist functions are refactored(that's why the AGS-101 EUR issue fixed before I got the console). I will notify in the changelog if there is any new improvement which worth to mention.
