I never wanted NES games for my Switch, MOST NES games are just fucking awful and isn't fun to play for the 564th time.

I'm not really a fan of having NES games on the switch, I would rather prefer if they ported gamecube games to it.

every phone should run nes games lol i had a nokia express music and i had a nes and gbc emulators that run fullspeed on those old as hell phones.
I think Nintendo is trying to play us. Maybe they're currently developing VC GameCube (I doubt Wii, by that point they'd might as well make a port like they did with some WiiU Games) to launch later when the cash is high in the peeps pockets like Fall/Winter season if not early 2019. They know as much as we, that we want GC VC.
i highly doubt that tbh, the way they said they have no plans for VC in general means they will make hd ports of some games like gc and wii. then probably an n64 mini for phisical vc to go with nes and snes.
if they had plans they wouldnt have said we have no current plans for any vc.
Here is the thing about the VC. It was meant that the games played "Exactly' (weather) they did or not is another issue) like they would on the old hardware.
Thats... not what's being done anymore. So VC wouldn't even be accurate anymore.
They could still releases *emulated* NGC games.. but for example in SMS instead of pushing ZR all the way down to stand still and spray, you hold it to run and spray, and then press L+ZR to do the stand and spray. But because of that alteration, they couldn't say it plays the same as on the GCN. Thus it wouldn't be a "VC" game.
Now of course I could be completely off my rocker... but I think looking at things a bit more logically than "OMG.. The NAME IS GONE ALL HOPE IS LOST." would do some good.

or they can just release a sunshine remastered wich is much easier since porting the game requires no emulation and they can change the controls to be switch compatible and dual joycons and whatever they want and charge full price for the hd remaster, what do you think nintendo is gonna pick?

I swear like 99% of arcade games wouldn't even exist these days outside of MAME the arcade machines are old and busted very few ever saw any sort of home conversion -
