Hacking Is anyone going to buy the Team Xecuter modchip?

I'm half-certain that TX's "modchip" is just gonna be the same exploit(s) everyone else is discovering. Atmosphere's on its way, and all current Switches have a hardware flaw that makes 'em hackable forever. I don't know where TX's modchip might fit into this.

It's good practice to train your mind into thinking that these types of software should be exclusively open-source. A good example is any failed piece of software that was created for the 3DS that had any kind of included restrictions on capabilities. Obviously Gateway is the first to come to mind, but even some well known people writing software for the device did this for "moral reasons".

Thank god people like @SciresM and @Reisyukaku exist to give people what they want; the ability to use their devices to their full potential. Something I wish more hardware manufacturers gave a shit about.

One day Nintendo will be fed up, they will put tiny C4 plastic explosive inside every console - it will do a countdown sequence on the screen for an explosion if you attempt to hack it. Anyone who wants to reverse engineer Nintendo console will need to wear a bomb-squad suit.

Didn't team x have the same thing happen with the wii u chip and abandoned it when a soft mod was discovered

Are they still going to sell their modchip? I havent heard anything from them since the bootrom was leaked, if they are planning to sell their product they need to do it before atmosphere is ready.

4.5 years of GW, 3DS is over, if TX lasts 4.5 years for Switch that not a bad run either, by then Switch 2 will be out or coming soon anyway! -- Console turn-over now is less than 5 years, no more is 10 to 15 years per generation.

I will get the first untethered HB solution there is as long as the price is not too insane.

If TX delivers, they have my money, as long as nobody else announces some kind of tetherless method.
