Hi I'm a noob at this stuff, this could be a really stupid question but is it possible to "downgrade" the Switch by creating a fake update of v4.1? If not, is it possible to get rid of KASLR?

No, you can't downgrade thanks to eFuses, which are tiny elements inside the CPU that can be “burnt” to permanently change the state of the CPU. When you successfully install a new Firmware on the Nintendo Switch, it will burn some eFuses on the CPU to “mark” a point of no return.

Your best option is to continue wait for a better solution to hack your Switch on the firmware it's on.

Oh crap didn't know that. I'm not really familiar with the Switch. Like, is it possible to downgrade from "updating" , tricking the system into thinking it's a new version?

Possible? Maybe, maybe not. You're better off actually buying and playing games while waiting for a better solution to hack your Switch on the firmware it's on.

True true... I was thinking if it would be like the Trucha Bug that was on the Nintendo Wii, everyone was able to get that vulnerabiliy back by patching the iOS (Not Apples Operating System obviously).

Don't always assume if something works for one thing that it will work for another. Even more so since the Nintendo Switch uses different architecture and hardware compared to the Wii U and Wii and Gamecube. Plus, the Switch homebrew scene is still in its infancy, so it's not as grown as the Wii's and 3DS's.

No. In theory it could work if we had the private keys to sign the firmware. But we don't have that and likely won't ever have them. Unless we find something like the trucha bug on wii (which is very unlikely) we won't be doing that.
