Hacking R4i (RTS) 3DS Cartridge In a DSi XL v1.4.4E

Hiya guys
I have a Nintendo DSi XL with Firmware 1.4.4E
I also have a R4i (RTS) 3DS 'Revolution For DS' Cartridge with a 4gb Microsd sdhc card in.
Cartridge is black & gold. (cannot post image link as I'm a new member)

The R4 cartridge will not show on the DSi menu. I haven't done any flashing for quite a while (probably since the PSP days) so basically I'm starting from scratch. Where do i start. Appreciate any help in laymans terms.

so basically your r4 card is not appearing in the game slot:
1. blow on it clean it gently
2. maybe it is not compatible with your version or you updated you dsi

Oh if it is fresh and new I'm pretty sure You have to download stuff onto it so it gets recognized you can find the downloads in the download section of nds-cards.com

also, you must have an adapter to plug the micro sd into your computer this adapter may be sd adapter or usb and I am certain that you can use mac and windows and maybe even chrome for this

(i'm also new to this but I've read up quite a bit so if this helps I'm glad and if I misunderstood the question can you rephrase it?)
