Hacking Manjaro Ps4 v2 available (with 3D renderer, new gpu drivers)

Hi guys ! Manjaro PS4 v2 is now available => wiki DOT osremix DOT com/fr/numerique/consoles_de_jeu/sony/playstation_4/manjaro

New GPU drivers installed, just change language/layout to English (or any other) with "manjaro-settings-manager" tool and Enjoy !

Many videos uploaded, emulators works, homebrews works, Firefox work... It's not perfect, but usable !

Still need to use Ethernet and externe usb audio card.

Why did you split the img in 2? it was much easier for Win users when it was just one img.

1, spoiler tags or something, them images are thicc.

2, yeah why split it?

3, is this set up without needing keyboard and mouse? I dont have kb+m handy, only my PS4 and DS4 and my laptop....

I didn't even think to ask about the Controller

But IIRC with Manjaro v1 the PS4 Controller didn't work.. So you may have to get a Mouse/Keyboard to use it.

No probs. I'm itching to try this.. Especially since Retroarch supposedly works

I think the PS4 controller worked with one of the Distros but I forget which one. (maybe fof's one)? Plus as an added perk with that Distro, you could get sound by plugging headphones into the Controller

It's for users who want have separate disks, or any future evolution about booting Linux without FAT partition/payload, i've explain on the wiki, you can use google translate and contribute to an english wiki too.

Anywat, i will share a new image compressed soon with only one IMG i you want.

Yeah, but you will have to configure your pad for any emulator.

Remember there is no Wifi and Bluetooth driver actually, so... USB cable is the only solution. Apparently PSXITA team work on the drivers, wait&see. After that, someone could be release dualshock wireless support maybe.
You can use others pads too.

Unfortunatly, i can't edit/merge my posts (maybe because i'm new here ?)

I heard the Bluetooth/Wifi are being worked on too, lets hope something comes from it soon

I have no time for testing all cores, the present GPU driver is like a proof of concept actually, he need more work and contributors for better performances.

And for that, we NEED contributor who gonna publish news & release on GBATEMP, and PSXHAX... And help about translation of the wiki.

It's lot of work, and it's too many for PSXITA team, Fail0verflow team, Eeply. They need help.

Honestly I would do it but I'm hopeless at writing news articles. I saw your Logis-Sunrise article, it translates well to english. You could just copy/paste that here?

Good time of the day. I try to install GPU drivers on manjiaro for PS4 PRO FW 5.05 CUH 7016B - and it’s don’t work! but install.
Download img from here http://wiki.osremix.com/fr/numeriqu...tion_4/manjaro#fichier_image_unique_compresse Just Linux without GPU driver - work fine, but very very slow! I use SSD 3.0 120 GB WD for install majiaro.
Make all commands in terminal according this guide but after reboot get ripple gray screen, and after press on enter or space button get black screen with purple line from the left. Use 4K monitor with PiP function. Anyway try use simple Full HD TV - it have a same problem. Make reinstall manjiaro many many times, and have a same trouble. How I can fix it? Anybody have any idea?
