Hey, i am new on this web.
I heard something nice about custom own pokemon.
First i want to ask about that, if we remodel animation and texture some pokemon, can we export that pokemon on save file main game (ex:main) ? By the way i am using citra emulator and now i am still playing pokemon ultra sun. Thanks, i hope you can reply me. Big thankss
Remodelling animations? I'm not sure if you can do that; it might cause significant errors. It sounds risky.
As for custom Pokemon, if you're referring to custom Pokemon as in custom stats, moveset and texture, it will appear normally in PKHeX, or whatever you use to edit Pokemon. "Main" doesn't import GARC data (Personal, move etc). It only records your save data. So if you've enabled a custom Pokemon to learn a move it usually wouldn't, it'd appear as illegal. If it had different stats, the stats will still be default.
Basically what I'm getting at is it doesn't import ROM edited data. It'll all be the same as it would be if you exported from a normal game.

but I don't know what the numbers mean, I thought I would be able to download something that contains the models
Decompress the files that you dumped and do it one by one til you find which one has the model.. (i think its the 00406 or 00407 that will have the model)

if you dont have the numbered file than you'll have to decompress the garc file to get it. (cant remember which file it is. can someone shed some light on that?)

If you have an extracted version of Ultra Sun or Moon, go to: \ExtractedRomFS\a\0\9, then there's a file called 4. If you don't have a .CIA or .3DS of USUM, dump it with GM9 or FBI (I think), then extract the file with HackingToolkit3DS. There's many tutorials for it.
Once you've located "4", open pk3DS, and drag the file to the top box. HOLD CTRL WHILE DOING SO, OR OHANA WILL BE UNABLE TO LOAD THE FILE.
You'll see there's over 10k files. For easier finding, use the Search tool and type in the number that the Pokemon is addressed to in the guide.

does anyone know where the overworld models/textures for rowlet, litten and popplio are? i want to make new forms for them and want them to be in that form in the overwold

Theyre in a082(sun)/a083(moon) garc. Every zone in the overworld has its own sets of model. Refer to this list for most of the area bins in a083 https://pastebin.com/ts9QxPRZ

One thing, does anyone know how the pokemon model could be changed? For example, I want to change Lucario and put Goku in. Can I?
Not sure if your triplicated messages were a glitch or not, but if they weren't, please don't spam on my thread, I try to get back to people ASAP.
No, as of now, model modifications are unavailable. The most you can do is overworld AFAIK. You can probably try and make a Goku texture for it, though. :)

How would you go about changing textures for trainers/NPCs? I have been looking all over for some kind of information on this.
I'm currently working on a list for Trainers and NPCs. I only have a folder named 6, which is the GARC, but I don't know the directory. I can send you the folder, and each NPC is a whole file unlike the Pokemon. So all animations, textures etc. are in one.

My problems starts while unpacking the Game. I was using the HackingToolkit9DS to extract the games files for Pokemon X. It worked like a charm and created all the expected folders.
But for Pokemon Sun/Moon, it just created the bin files without actually creating the folders. What do i need to do to get those "ExtractedRomFS"-Folder etc? :/

Just .bin files? Did you dump a .CIA or .3DS? Did you use Godmode9 to do so?
I use Godmode9 to dump a .CIA. If you didn't do that and have GM9, try again. If not, could you send me the file you tried to extract?

In gen 6, the pokémon come in groups of eight files instead of nine. Anyone know which ones are what?
the only difference is that the 9th file in SM/USUM is the OW walking/running animation. I believe they're stored differently though so you can't directly swap files.

hi, where do i find the textures and animations of a pokemon? I managed to import Giratina in SPICA from ultra sun as I want to export the model with textures and animations but the rig, textures, animation, lights and camera are missing inside. Where do I find them and how do I import them?

The 2nd and 3rd files are the regular and shiny textures respectively and can be opened and exported using Ohana3ds. the 5th-8th files are all animations, and can be individually accessed by unpacking the 5th/6th/7th/8th file with pk3ds and putting that into spica. As a note in case you were planning on editing the models or animations and putting them back into the game, that currently doesn't work with S/M/US/UM and the only thing that does is texture editing. I don't really know if getting the rigs is possible? (I don't really do 3d modelling so I could be wrong) Same with lights and camera.

Ooohhhh, now i've got it! Can I say im stupid? XD I didn't understand that in the list the files of a pokemon were a group of files and not just 2 files.
Anyway, my intention was to extract the 3d models with animations to use them on 3d softwares for projects. I perfectly know that there are already existing 3d models of all pokemons, but I need the animations from the game instead of making them from zero.
