Ah, thank you Wij! Your gamedata worked like a charm! But can I safely use the cheat plugin though? I'm using the European version, but it seems like this is for US copies only.

You're right. Try these steps:

Or these if the above doesn't work:

I don't recommend using the method in the OP because it's really tedious.

Hello everybody! I spent all of two days ago hacking my 3ds with Luma to play gay Awakening, only to find that a hack exists for Fates too! So if I want to hack Revelations (the third path only available by digital purchase), should I move the "specials edition" to my SD/luma/titles folder?

Edit: whoops, found the answer on pg 97. Thanks!

Hello there! I'm absolutely brand new to the 3DS hacking world, and I've been interested in the companion patch for a while among other patches. I have a question though: While reading and watching tutorials for stuff, I've heard mentions that you need the physical copies of these games for them to work? I downloaded all my stuff via eShop. Am I shit out of luck for patching these games?

I'm using a digital version of the special edition and it works just fine for me, dunno where you head that rumor from.

I remember lookin' on DeathChaos_25's tumblr and he linked to a video tutorial about how to hack stuff and the gal mentioned you required a physical copy to patch the games or somethin' to that affect.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Hate to double post, I apologize. I ask because not only did I download Revelations, but I've pretty much downloaded all my games (FE:A, FE:F Conquest, Birthright, Revelations, FE:E SoV) from the eShop aside from Pokemon Omega Ruby (which is the only physical game cartridge I own for my 3DS).

Ah, that's the guide for the HANS installation method right? I wouldn't know anything about it, since I installed the hack through the luma method, which was loads more simple than both HANS and NTR CFW (though admittedly, I did flubber about with it initially as well). I'd recommend you try either the NTR CFW or luma method for installing the hack, since those worked fine on my digital version.

No. Digital copies work. Any video tutorials are long outdated, refer to 3ds.guide and previous pages of this thread if you're confused. Feel free to ask any questions either here or at the discord.

EDIT: Any paths purchased as DLC will not work. Use the Special Edition CIA instead.

So taking that edit into account, if I wanted to patch my DLC copy of Revelations with the one patch that balances stuff out, I'd have to use the Special Edition CIA? Would this be the same with the Birthright DLC (Since I downloaded Conquest like a good boy)?

Alrighty! I'm gonna try to install the patch via the Luma method, but upon reaching that section of the guide it sorta assumes I already know how to do it, which I kinda don't.

"Luma
If you have Luma installed you proooobably know how to do this."

So, I looked on the Luma Wiki, and I just wanna make sure I got this correct.

So I go into the Luma folder, create luma/titles/TID (the TID which you get from 3dsdb.com), and then just place whatever patches in there are .bin files?

Edit: Found out how to get Luma to work, sweet!

One more thing: I don't really wanna add a bunch of supports, and I'm lookin' at all the bin files. I assume I'd be able to just pick which ones I wanted to put into my game yes? Like if I didn't add 1 or 2 supports from the lot of them, it wouldn't affect the ones I chose? Common Sense says yes, but I just wanna make sure.

Help! I'm currently playing Lunatic Conquest (my first run, hopefully the extra supports make it slightly easier but still maintains the challenge), and there's a triangle I'm having trouble with. I don't know who to marry who! I'm using F Corrin, and I want her to marry either Ophelia or Soleil because I think they're both the best for Corrin and I want to see them in her house, yet this is the first time using the hack and SoleilxOphelia is my OTP. What do I do? Canon-wise, which pairing works the best you think (SoleilxF Corrin, Soleil x Ophelia, Ophelia x F Corrin)? What S Support conversation is the best do you think? If only there was a way to marry multiple people yet see their S Rank conversations on the same file! Since this is Lunatic Conquest, and my first run of it, it is a special playthrough and I want the pairing to feel real for more "morale" playing through this challenge.

Marry someone else then?

Huh, well, that's surprising.
Not sure if this happened to anyone else, but my game crashed at the end of the credits of Birthright. Thankfully it's not a big deal since I can just start another path, but it's still weird.

hello, I've been using this patch in birthright and the main protagonist(female) cannot marry Sakura, Oboro, Azura... Is this it? It seems I cannot marry any female characters

I'm confused how children of female-female marriages work with the workaround listed on the first post for the patch.

even if you use the workaround to set one character temporarily to male when two female characters marry, won't they still not have a kid (excluding Corrin or Azura) since the children are linked to the male characters?

I think the workaround is only in place for F!Corrin and Azura and the male-male marriages. You're right though, fhe kids are linked to the males and the workaround doesn't make sense for the non-F!Corrin/Azura female-female pairings.

gotcha'! thank you. : ) is there, by chance, any way to work around that limitation of the game by using the "all paralogues unlocked" patch and then setting the child's parents to two of the female characters before going into the map so they're listed as the parents and dictate the child's attribute inheritance or something?

I'll have to admit that I have not worked with the "all paralogues unlocked" patch so I cannot help you with that, unfortunately.
