Hacking Help troubleshooting GC Injection

Hi Guys,

I've searched everywhere and could not find a Fix for my problem. Everytime I try to start a GC injection off wiiU mode I get blackscreen. The only way to get around it is to open vWii first, then Nintendont App, then going back to the WiiU mode and then launching the injection. Have anyone figured out what my problem is? It doesn't have the same effect when launching Wii Virtual console, and I'm pretty shute all my bios files are on the right place.

I just can't understand why this is happening, but it appears to be a common problem. Any ideas?

Do you have the config file on root of sd. Not sure why would work by going to vwii nintendont then back to Wii U. Wii usbhelper can prep ur sd card or can generate a config with tecmoons injection app

Yes the config file is on the root of the SD Card. I generated it with Tecmoons Injection app. Thats not the problem. Any other idea?

It's on WiiU USB drive.

Yeh I know u are trying to start it from Wii VC injecting from Wii U menu.

When u goto vwii and start up nintendont app is that stored on sd card or do u have a vwii hardrive that run vwii hblauncher apps from
I was thinking that if had the nintendont app on usb that maybe ur drive isn’t initializing when Wii U switches over to vwii

What I’d maybe try is in computer app Wii usbhelper there are two dif nintendonts that can install as VC injects. I did both of those
And mine had worked fine
Later I added vwii hardrive to use nintendont straight from vwii

I launch the on installed on the SD Card. I'll Try what you said and post the results in linke 5 minutes.

Normally i launch the Nintendont app on the SdCard via a vWii forwarder on WiiU mode. Then I go back to WiiU Mode and I can launch a WiiVC injection. Still have no Idea why it simply don't work without doing it first.

That’s odd. Only thing I can tell you is try those nintendont injects from Wii usbhelper. There’s two of them one was called a forwarder and I forget what the other was. I installed both to Wii U nand with WUP Installer then I had put gc injects on after and started and I had no problems. I don’t think I even had nintendont app in vwii apps folder
Maybe delete ur nintendont setup and have Wii usbhelper prepare ur sd card for it. There’s a button to do so in the app

No, I tried both USB Helper apps and nothing. I still need to load Nintendont (forwarder or not) appthen go back do Wiiu and then launch de GC Injection. Maybe it has to do with files in cache? I don't really know. @FIX94 Sorry to refer to you, but I think you're the only one that could can help me.

Any other ideas guys? I open to try anything =)
PS: Formated my HDD and the problem persists.

Did you delete ur nintendont config and all traces and then have Wii usbhelper prepare ur ds card?

Looking on my Wii U now
And on nand I have the two nintendonts from Wii usbhelper installed. I didn’t know what I was doing when I had first started so I had done both and had just left them on. One says Nintendont and the other says Nintendont (Forwarder) both are 10MB. Idk if even needed one or both but when I first had started that’s what I had done then put injected gc game and it worked. I think I made my config with tecmoons app once I started making injections with that since Wii usbhelper didn’t have many at the time

Then just make sure put most recent nintendont on sd card

What method are u using to gain sigpatch on Wii U ?

I See. I've already eliminated any traces of Nintendont than did exactly what you said. Installed both versions (normal and forwarder) and nothing. I still need to do forwarder and then come back to WiiU. What I didn't tried was to format vWii, but I think WiiVC has nothing to do with vWii right? I'm doing Haxchi Coldboot via DS game.

Any other idea? I'm losing hope =/

I have same setup with cbhc.
If u had problem with sigpatches I think u would get an error when you goto start the gc Wii VC injected title
Only other thing I can say to try as u wiped out all traces of nintendont and started fresh
Is to try a different hardrive
Have u tried putting the inject you made on nand instead of external
And what are u using to install? WUP Installer gx?

Ur issue is strange. Because when u go back to Wii U from vwii doesn’t the system do like a soft reset. So I don’t know why opening nintendont in vwii and then going back to Wii U would have an effect and then game works

Maybe try a different sd card even
What are u using for an sd card and size? And how do u have it formatted?

I've already triedthree different SD cards: a 32GB, a 16GB and a 2GB one, all in FAT32 format. I haven't tried a different HDD tho, because I only have one with in the size I need. What I've tried was to change de USB case in with the HDD was installed. Which resulted in no difference.

It seems like I won on the lotery for bad luck hahahaha.
Anyway, I've found other people on Reddit with problems like mine, what I haven't found was a solution. =/

Have you tried putting on nand instead of hardrive

Hi again,

Sorry for the delay, it was a hard week on work. I tried putting it on the Nand, but i got the error still. I have a Modded vWii, do you think its it the cause of the problem? I have a Nand Backup of it, do you think that restoring it may solve the problem? I installed Haxchi on a friends console, and GC Injects worked flawlessy, and its vWii was untoched.

How exactly I can resotre my vWii Nand.bin?

Any other ideas about the root of the problem?
