Hi All

I’m facing a strange issue with my ps vita which seems familiar, but I couldn’t find a clear answer or guide on how to solve it.

To start with I was using Henkaku enso with 32GB vita memory with few games already installed. I followed one of the guides online where I found that there is no tai folder in ux0 since its enso. However I followed the remaining steps where I placed gamesd.skprx in ur0:/tai and modified the config file in the same folder. Post that formatted the sd using zzBlank .img and copied ux0 files to it.

The good news is that post rebooting my vita recognized the sd card as ux0 with the new allocated size, however uma0 (vita card) disappeared and the games installed previously stopped working. Additionally, even though uma0 disappeared I cant remove vita memory card as I get a warning the memory card has been removed, do not remove the memory card while the system is in use ..etc

I tried uninstalling/re-installing vita shell but with no change.

Any idea what went wrong and how can I get uma0 back? if its back can we use both ux0 and uma0 together?

can you try to install this program
https://github.com/Applelo/SwitchSD2Vita/releases
You must try v1.3
And delete your own sd2vita line on config and also delete your sd2vita skprx file on ur0/tai folder
Then run that switch program and choose auto option and restart your vita if nothing change then run vitashell and check ux0 folder if you see tai and taiOld folders, then delete tai folder and restart your vita again

Did you update to Enso 3.65? If so, did you download the updated VitaShell nonpdrm.skprx and gamesd.skprx? The updated gamesd.skprx has 2 versions, make sure you get the right one.

You also need to delete the tai folder in ux0 and uma0, using it only on ur0 and editing the config to change the plugin addresses to ur0.

Make sure that both gamesd and nonpdrm are under KERNAL in config.txt and that nonpdrm is under gamesd in the list as it needs to load afterwards.

Now start VitaShell, press start and make sure your load setting is on "SD2Vita". Then exit out of VitaShell, go back in and push Triangle to see the root menu pop up, press update homescreen. Also check and see if there's a mount uma0 option there

Just piggybacking off this thread instead of starting my own because I'm having the same problem. I have tried all of these steps and not gotten anything from it - when I checked the list of updated plugins posted on reddit, there is a note next to the gamecard plugin that says "use Arkanite's fork instead" but the link is dead. Do you happen to have links to the plugin that will let me use my SD card as ux0 and the Sony memory card as uma0 updated for 3.65 ENSO?

Yeah. On the plugin list (not sure if it's okay for me to link, but here it is https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U2JuT8G_pO13Z_JPLEjn4DDv2Y2RODoCSx2GJmN-RZo/edit#gid=0_, it's not listed as SD2Vita, but "gamecard-microSD". I don't know if that means it's a different author or just a name change.
well to be honest English is not my main language and if I understand you correct you are using 3.65 enso and you want to use your sd card as ux0 and your vita card as uma0, am I right ?
If yes, just delete gamesd.skprx plugin from your ur0 and delete the plugin line on your config file and you can see a few messages ago I wrote about switchsd2vita com, just download and use it, it will put necessary skprx files on your ur0 folder and it will put necessary line in your config file

Yup, tried that but still no dice on the uma0 front. It did, however, stop my nonpdrm.skprx from working, so I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

that program puts gamesd line under the kernel, so you can put nonpdrm to new line under it.
and if you use that program now you should check your ux0 folder. in there you must see tai and taiOld folders, just delete tai folder and restart your vita...
