Hacking Can I import 3DS games to Wii U USB Helper?

There's an option to import games to Wii U USB Helper & I've done Wii U games but can I also import 3DS games? If so, what format do they need to be in? .3DS files don't seem to be working. I'd like to import a game so I can build a CIA & load it on a 3DS. thanks

He never said they did. What he means is like, you have a old jnus download laying around, you can import it with wii u usb helper so you don't have to re-download it. Even if its incomplete, it will scan all the pieces for integrity, and download the missing ones.

No. However there are tools for both PC abd tthe 3ds itsself which cab do this. You will require CFW on the 3ds to play the pirated games however. If you have CFW freeshop and an enctitlekey.bin file will allow you to downpoad and install directly on the device without actually building a .cia file first.

What are you guys talking about?

You can download 3ds game with wii u usb helper, there even is an option to pack as cia. Obviously they don't work on the wii u, but as i remember they play fine when installed on the 3ds..

What I'm talking about is, I have some games I dumped from cart to cia, I want to know if there is a way to import them to my wii u usb helper so I don't have to download them, I'd like them archived in wii u usb helper.

No but you can keep the file you dumped safely where ever you like on your computer. Wii U usb helper is strictly designed for wiiu and does not work with any other ststem and likely never will.... if you want an all around game manager im not sure one exists but again the files can be safely stored on your PC for use whenever you may need them...

But @mikey420, it does work with 3ds games

@SFNMutt If its just the cia file you want, you can place your .3ds files into a folder on your 3ds's SD card, boot Godmode9 and find your .3ds files, click on one and select "NCSD image options..." and then " Build CIA from file" mind the space on your SD though, you can't convert a lot at a time, and it is a fairly slow process.

As for if we can import them to Wii U USB Helper, I'll do some searching around myself since know-body here knows what we are talking about and get back to you.

yes I know but USB Helper can download 3ds games & lets you export them in .cia format to you 3ds SD card so you can install them on the 3ds.

I have a game I got elsewhere. I was able to extract it (is decrypt it the right phrase), copy in the modified files, & was having trouble repacking it to CIA. I could only get as far as repacking it to .3ds & looking for a tool to take it the last step.

yep, it's CFW & has freeshop. the game in question is even on there but this is a Japanese game called PuyoPuyoTetris. My 5tr old somehow found it on youtube kids and requested it. some fine people made files to translate parts of it to english. I had mash the parts together & could rebuild it as a .3ds. just could get it into a .cia like i can w/ Injectiine for VC games. all the tutorials I found on here require you to load it back into the 3ds, run god something or other, then take it back out do something else & back into the device again. was trying to minimize the numbers of times I had to pull the back cover off the 3ds. as soon as my 5yro see's me fiddling w/ it, he has to have it ASAP.

as for the link, I'll check it out buy I believe that does the same thing as WiiU USB Helper. looks nice though & says it can build .cias. thanks
