Google like you did with Wii U keys but instead swap it out for 3DS and it's the first site that comes up.

Also, if you watch the tutorial video it'll tell you how to do it.
Yep, did just that, no change. Still not getting the 3ds content to download, just "tmd not found"...

What version of the app are you running?
Can you send me a screenshot of the download log?

Not all wii injections are compatible with the Wii U GamePad.

App is version 0.6.1.609
I'll send you a screenshot of the log, but it doesn't say much really. It would be nice to have a detailed log.

first of all: thanks for Wii U USB helper!

But what I would like to know:

1. How are N64 games "emulated"? Do they use Nintendos official emulator? Or some kind of project64 for Wii U?!
2. Are GCN games really "installed" into NAND? Or do they stay on SD card and only a link is installed into home menu?
3. Can I brick somehow using injections?

That depends. I believe the official N64 games that you buy from the eShop are running on Nintendo's own N64 Emulator.

But the Game Injections that you can download from USB Helper are running on Nintendont.

I could be wrong though, but that's how I always thought the emulation worked on the WiiU.

And yes when you install an Inject to the nand, it's running on the Nand. When you set up the inject on your PC, your left with a folder, and in the folder looks like any other WiiU game that you download via USB Helper, it has all the normal install files, and it even has a TIK/Ticket file.

You then install that inject like you do with any WiiU game from USB Helper, with WUP Installer.

And you can't brick by using Injections. Just don't install a non legit DS game over the legit paid version that your using for CBHC.

If your not using CBHC, then you can't brick your console at all. As far as I know anyway.

My problems were resolved.
It was just that I had blocked basically every Nintendo URL in the router a couple of years ago to block the update service and I had forgotten about it.

On the Wii U, games are emulated by the official Nintendo 64 emulator, embedded in each N64 Vc release. On pc, the application relies on Project64.

Yes, the game data installed on your system (nand or usb). You still need the sd to launch the games though since Nintendont is not included in the data (this way you can update Nintendont without needing to reinstall the whole game)

No that's very unlikely, unless you have CBHC and you overwrite the base game.

hey Hikari06, first of all, i really appreciate your hard work so we can all enjoy so many things on our wiiu and 3ds consoles. im not sure what's wrong, but i started to encounter a problem with my gamecube injections. just to make everything clear - i prepared sd card with wii usb helper, all the files on sd card. injections used to work like a charm, until couple of days ago. when i start any gamecube game i get the game title screen, then wii screen. then im supposed to get nintendont loading screen but im just getting black screen and i have to unplug wii u from power. i guess somethings wrong with nintendont but i have no idea what. any ideas? im running CBHC.

any ideas how to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated :)

update: i didnt mention i always choose using wii u gamepad, not sure if it matters. and i figured its pretty random for me, in a bad way. i mean, without changing ANYTHING i'll get black screen 10-12 times in a row and then after another unplugging nintendont will load and the game will start.

The app was working great, but I had to reformat the PC.
Now I'm getting an error: " "an error occurred while initializing the emulators. Most likely you have unplugged the drive on which your games are stored. The emulation settings will now be cleared and the application will close".
I use a network drive, but it IS attached, and mapped as a windows drive, and I can access all files there.
Hi, can somebody help me?

----
EDIT: sorry, it's a windows permissions problem... I've tryed here, reading is ok, but writing not!

Unfortunately, as you've pointed out, this is most likely a Nintendont issue. Since I am not involved in its development I can only speculate on what's causing the issue.
Perhaps you could try with another SD card, formatted in FAT32 and containing only the files added by the Injection Tool 'Prepare my SD' button?

Perhaps executing the application as administrator will give it write permissions.

Yeah, that happens and it sucks. What you need to do is right-click the folder where you want the files to be, click the bottom alternative (it's "egenskaper" in Swedish, don't remember the English word atm), go to security tab, click advanced go to owner tab and change the ownership to your account instead of a bunch of numbers. And even that is a pain in the @$$...

There is however an easier way to do this, but it requires messing around with the registry. Here's a pretty easy guide: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/win...ership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/
It's for Vista, but should work in every windows version up to 10.

First of all, thank you, Hikari, for this software. It seems like the kind of thing I have been looking for, for some time now.

That being said, I have a question about 3DS games, updates, and DLCs downloading using this app:
  1. What do I need to do with this app in order to get the list of downloadable titles for the 3DS?
  2. Once I download the title (game), its update and its DLC, what are the exact steps I need to take next in order to install the game, the update, and the DLC on my 3DS? I have the latest Luma, B9S, FBI and I am two versions behind the latest Godmode9
  3. Does the game, update or DLC gets packed as a CIA? If they do, does it have the ticket inside?
  4. Is it possible to only download the ticket for a game, its update or its DLC? I ask because the way I usually install stuff on my 3DS, is that I go to that titlekeys site, scan the QR code with FBI and only install the ticket for the game, update, or DLC, and then either go to the eShop to download the game or update, or access the in-game shop of any game to "re-download" the whole DLC or part of it. If it is possible to download only the ticket, how do I go about placing or installing the ticket on the 3DS?
I tried that certain iso site to download the DLC for two games I purchased (fire emblem fates: birthright and conquest), but when I installed it, it was all messed up: the revelations chapter or story wasn' t visible on the menu, there were missing DLC parts, there were empty slots, lots of them, that only said "reserved" and when I selected any of them it sent me back to the main menu. So I am hoping I can use this tool to download a valid DLC.

While we are on the topic of DLCs, let me share something about my experience with them. There are certain DLC tickets that I download through that titlekey site that allows me to install each part of the DLC through the in-game shop of certain games. For example, on Etrian Odyssey Untold 2, I can download the DLC ticket only, launch the game, access the in-game store, and when I check for each part of the DLC it says "bought" and also a button that says "redownload" and I am able to "redownload" them. Now, many people have told me that the ticket for the DLC gets deleted, causing the removing of the DLC of any game if I access the eShop or any other game's in-game shop. That has not been entirely true for me. For example, with the same Etrian Odyssey Untold 2, after I install all the parts of the DLC, I can access the eShop, browse around a bit, and when I come back to the game and then access its in-game shop, I can see that my DLC is still there, and every part that of said DLC that I "redownloaded" says "bought" and "downloaded", and I can indeed play them. There are also other games that I have whose DLC I download, without purchasing it through it's in-game shop, that I do not lose.

I have observed the following phenomena:
  1. There are games whose DLC tickets I download through that titlekeys site allows me to "redownload" any of the parts of the DLC (that being a map, a character, etc.) through the in-game shop for the corresponding game
  2. There are games whose DLC tickets I download through that titlekeys site does not allow me to "redownload" any of the parts of the DLC (that being a map, a character, etc.) through its in-game shop for the corresponding game
  3. For the "type" of DLC described above (#2), I have no option than to download the DLC through FBI, using the "download from CDN" option of FBI that comes up when I first install the ticket, which I assume is a link provided by either FBI or that titlekeys site to the eShop server that serves the content (or CDN), in this case, the DLC, game or update. The only downside of this approach is that for these types of cases, the DLC does get removed when I visit the eShop. My question is, if I have a ticket for a DLC that I get from that titlekeys site, why won't it let me "redownload" it for certain games through its in-game shop, while others do? I have confirmed, though my sample size is not big enough, that DLC that I "redownload" through in-game shops, tend to stay no matter how many times I visit the eShop, while others that I download through FBI or its CIA on that iso site, and later install it, gets removed if I visit the eShop.
  4. One last thing. The DLCs for those problematic games do not get removed per se, but rather there is an unlinking of the DLC data from the game. If I go to Data Management on my 3DS, I can see that the DLC which supposedly got removed is still there. It even tells me how many blocks it is occupying. You see how this can be problematic when I downloaded the DLC's CIA for the Fire Emblem: Fates birthright and conquest on that iso site, and it is a whopping 541MB in size (interesting trivia: if you were to buy the whole DLC for Fire Emblem Fates, it would cost a whopping 81.31$ + sales tax depending on the state you set on your 3DS if you chose USA as your country). I would be re-installing that DLC every time I visit the eShop, which wears down the SD card unnecessarily. Is there anyway of making the game recognize that the DLC is there, even though the eShop has unlinked it from it, other than re-installing the DLC?

If anyone can shed some light on any of these questions I have, I would deeply appreciate it. Heck, I will just thank anyone who is willing to read all this. I know this is a lot of words, but I just needed to get it out there in hopes that somebody can help me, specially with the strange DLC behaviour for certain games. So thank you in advance for reading my post. And if you can answer any of my questions, please, I implore you to be as specific and detailed as possible.

PD: I have heard about funkyCIA, funkyCIA2, GroovyCIA, and now this tool. Do they all do the same thing and if so, which one is the most complete and recommended?

EDIT: I have tried Wii u USB helper and it's a great program! Double congratulations and thanks to you hikari! One more thing, what are the checkboxes "legit", "cfw", and "preview" for? What do they do? Do checking any of them have an effect on a game, an update or a DLC?

Since this is an injected title you have to provide your own iso.
But the application can help you for this particular title since the base game is available on the eShop.
Try saying yes when it asks you to use the game from eShop and you should be good to go.

Make sure the application is not blocked by either your antivirus and/or firewall.

Unfortunately you need to use an SD card that is big enough to fit the entire game.

Sorry if I miss a question but this is quite a long post xD

1-Input the 3ds title key site url and make sure the console is enabled in the Filters tab
2-Use the "Copy to SD" button and then install the respective .CIA files with FBI (IMPORTANT NOTICE : Newer 3ds titles have an extra layer of encryption and require a 'seed' to be installed alongside the .cia. This has to be done when installing so USB Helper cannot do it automatically. Most CIA installers have an option to install the seed though).
3-Yeah they do get packed as cia when using the "Copy to sd" button. And they contain a ticket but it is fakesigned.
4-Perhaps it is possible with a custom homebrew for the 3DS but I'm afraid that's outside of the scope of USB Helper so I cannot be more precise here, sorry.

And regarding the DLC problems too, I have in fact little knowledge about the 3DS (the application was for WiiU only first after all ^^') but someone might be able to help you.

5-These check boxes only matter for Wii U titles.
Legit means the ticket was ripped from a Disc and is therefore universal (meaning it can be installed on any system without needing a CFW).
CFW means the ticket was generated by the application. It contains the true title key but is not signed, so a CFW is required (all 3DS titles fall into this category on USB Helper).
Preview refers to some titles which were released before the actual game as a "preview" of the final game (for instance Splatoon Global Testfire) ;)

Since this is an injected title you have to provide your own iso.
But the application can help you for this particular title since the base game is available on the eShop.
Try saying yes when it asks you to use the game from eShop and you should be good to go.
i tried downloading it and saying yes. it downloaded then thrown a error at me on two computers. i deleted the folder and tried again no luck.

but don't worry i have the iso now it was a pain to get it man!!!
sorted i'm happy thank you

I could post the error if you want to see it?

wii u helper is amazing.!
