i wonder if the characters vocals data are programmed to recognize a song and sing it in their own voice.. example: lets say u use a song like "its the end of the world as we know it" and play it, then they sing the song in japanese or something or as best as they can from programming.

Nope; it's pre recorded. Vocals and everything. It's basically the Nintendo-format equivalent of a song MP3 file.

Hello, I get an error message every time I try to export a custom chart.

Basically, I'm trying to make an extremely difficult version of Common World Domination for fun but whenever I try to export the .dsc, it always ends up in an error.
The chart is always wiped out in the original .dsc and I really need help with it.

I've just tried to export a song with only one change but it seems to crash the program too. I am using the new Chart Editor so that may be the case, but
is there any way to fix it? Thanks.

I had the same issue with the new chart editor. When it didn't error, it just didn't work. I'd recommend giving the older one a try (although it takes a bit of practice to get used to)

Edit: Okay, so it seems that making NO CHANGES actually exports the file normally, for whatever that's worth.

Hey, I started editing textures for my mirai cart, but for some reason if a camera zooms out on an edited model, it reverts back to its original texture, but when they are zoomed in, the changes are seen. Here's some examples:

You'll have to change each texture manually.

I'm not sure, to be honest. I think the songs themselves only have the vocals from the original vocaloids, if you want one sung by another then you'll have to swap it out with the version you want manually

Well, I guess whoever sings the song is based on a certain area of a pv listed in pv_db_en.txt, which is in the pv folder. I'll try changing them to see if it really works.

That does change the character, yes. The audio for the song itself doesn't change though.

Yeah, I realized that you need to get the audio file and replace the original with that.
Though I still have one problem:
How do you usually open and view the textures of a .bin file? I'm trying to figure out how to change the preview images+ logos for some songs, but not even Ohana3DS can open them. And I do know that the files for logos are spr_ae_pv files, but not the images.

Oh, those are tricky! I think I have an explanation here somewhere, let me find it and I'll edit this

Edit: on the first page of this thread, look under Textures > PV, UI and Menu Textures and there's a tutorial/explanation there.

So I tried to make it so that Hatsune Miku is completely Black & White to fit Skeleton Orchestra but for some reason, she still has a bit of colour over the black & white part (like there is an overlay with her normal textures). There is also a few items in the stage that still has colours like the title animation and some of the gears which I want to make black & white.

    You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.
