Hacking need help before updating 3.65 henkaku

hello everyone i have a psvita 1000 model and i am using it with sd2vita. im still on 3.60 henkaku and planning to update to 3.65 henkaku but before that i released a lot of things changed, i mean i didnt use my vita for a long time and before that i just set up sd2vita long long ago and i noticed my vitashell was on 1.62 version.

i formatted my 8 gb memory card and i installed vitalshell 1.83 and molecularshell and took back up with qcma.
my first question is when i update to 3.65 cant i install molecularshell from henkaku.xyz ?
and i have 2 memory card 8 gb and 32 gb, im planning to use 32 gb for psp games and 8 gb for back up programs, if i lose vitashell, can i take back up from 8 gb card and install it to other cards ?
i also decided to try nonpdrm and nopsmdrm because i didnt use them before. so on github page it says about putting nonpdrm on ux0/tai folder but my tai folder and config file are in ur0 with sd2vita plugin. Can i put nonpdrm to ur0 ?
and i have no idea about what is nopsmdrm, can anyone give me info about what drm files should i use ?
i also saw pkgi and pkgj programs ? what is the difference between them ? and how can i set up my config.txt file ?

henkaku's website will no longer work on 3.65. you can use a different card if it's the same account, I believe. nonpdrm can be on ur0. pkgi is a way of downloading nonpdrm games directly to the system. there's a new version of it (think it's version 0.08) which works with tsv files on that one nps website. you can get info on that on the pkgi 's github. I've heard that this pkgi is a fork, but I don't really know, so look for that support.

thanks for answer, i put nonpdrm v1.1 on ur0/tai folder and added a line on my config file but how can i know it is working or not ?
and do you know anything about nopsmdrm ?

nonpdrm games will work. they won't without that plugin.

I installed pkgj and set up config.txt and when I choose and install a game nothing happened, no new game is coming on live screen. Do you know how can I fix this problem ?

not sure. I haven't tried installing a game with the new pkgi. I already have the games I want minus 3.61+ games since I'm still on 3.60. if you click on download, it should download and install at the same time. is it doing that or did nothing happen? could be a bad link if that's happening. try the link on the pc. tsv files can be opened with a text editor, so you can find the game/link to test.

I put nonpdrm v.1.2 I guess it is for 3.65 version, I will try version 1.1
And why did you decide to stay on 3.60 ?
Why don't you update to 3.65 henkaku ?

yeah, I know pkgi requires nonpdrm for the games, but I don't know if it requires it simply to download. I stayed on 3.60 since it's a one-way street, and if something were to go wrong at some point and you have to reinstall the firmware, you'll lose ensou.

well, supposedly mai dumps work provided you have a 3.65 system to dump the games with. I heard that dlc doesn't work though. but, who wants incomplete dumps? I redownloaded all of my games as nonpdrm. I even took all the dlc for all of my games by way of nps browser after sony pissed me off by banning my account and ps3. they called me a pirate, so I'll show them pirate.

I don't understand why wololo/et al don't make a bigger deal out of this, because you can get back to 3.60 but never again to 3.61+ if you have to wipe the vita right? There's no way I'm updating till they work that crap out, especially if mai dlc is flushed.

not sure about plugins. there's an overclock one which might be good. if you put *ALL it will affect all apps/all games instead of singling out one or two games. adrenaline is a must if you like psp games. I've never tried a psx game with it, but it should work well with that. aside from that and the sd2vita or usbmc plugins, I'm not really sure. I think a lot of plugins have to be updated to work with 3.65, so that's another reason not to update just yet.

mai dump destroyed the dlc I had actually purchased by removing the work.bin. it might've happened when changing the eboot loading method to 5 or 6. the dlc was still present, even after being copied to the app/title id/dlc folder, but the license was mysteriously gone. I had to redownload it with nps browser. while I was at it, I decided to treat myself to more dlc for tales of hearts r that I hadn't bought.

what is nps browser ? sorry i think i was away from vita news...

it's a way to download content for any sony system. it comes with instructions and licenses (if needed).

how i didnt hear it before, i have ps3, ps4 vita and good old psp but i didnt hear it before, thanks again
i am still not sure about 3.65 henkaku, you are right abouy no fix with a mistake, i will wait for another week and try to understand all new programs and plugins maybe next week i will update my vita...
