After the Kaslr Release people should stay under 5.0 until ScriesM say its safe to upgrade since i do believe it patches DejaVU

every one will update if it not out by smash so yeah its game over for switch hacking Nintendo has finally made a firmware thats impossible to hack how impressive of Nintendo. Just buy another device to emulate on and stop cheating in pokemon i guess.

from what i heard, hacking a console is never impossible, just harder

only point i see to hacking the switch is to cheat in games and piracy you can do every thing else on pc and android.

You can also cheat in games a pirate on PC and Android... sure you can, although not the same games perhaps.

But yeah if i want to be able to gen in pokemon switch in the future i will have to not update its a hard choice.

on 5.0 Kernelhax is Def Dead , Bootrom Exploit still possible but now the thing is you need an Custom TZ is this even possible on 5.0

It takes ages to find exploits there are still a ton probably in the 5.0 update only reason we found some so early is because nvidea messed up.

Yes this is a good Reason , but now with Kaslr going Random on Every Reboot i think or ever 10 seks idk , will this not be something you can do ez anymore

they did this with the 3ds on oot hax i think and they still got it to work.

yeah but if i remember correctly it took some time even emunand was not able to upgrade on that point

Emunand on the O3DS was simple. The N3DS was what stalled. Due to the keys not being obtainable up until a certain point. From what I remember.

Many people in the community seem to be updating against your recommendation because "we have bootrom exploit" and seem to be thinking they will get software bootrom exploit in any firmware, and I believe that to be incorrect.
Edit: also if that's something that needs to be kept secret for any reason right now then I'm perfectly fine with that. I don't want this to come across as pushing for release or trying to force info out, I'm just trying to clear up community confusion.
