In fairness to them, I was soldering a Team Xecuter product in my original XBox while a sizable percentage of this forum was still in diapers, yourself probably included. These guys didn't exactly come out of nowhere. Raise your dongers in tribute to the X2/3 - when mods had front panel dipswitches.

I’m the same I’m nearly 40 and grew up with them and the Xbox scene

I love them and they did amazing things for the Xbox but seems like they might have dropped the ball on this one

I tried to get correct information on the titan and cm devices when i wanted to buy one and eventually i bought a titan one. I still don't know who is the real one, but i do know, even though my device works like a charm, I still feel ripped off. Probably because it feels really cheap, was way too expensive, and in the end they did a lot of false promises like wii u support.
Especially no multicontroller support was a bummer. If chronus max is going to support multiple switch pro controllers it will be an insta buy for me. I got the titan one for xbox controller support, so i could buy 4 xbox controllers and use them with all devices, but yeah, only one controller is supported to use.

ps. titan one claimed they were in law suit with cm, they used that to claim their legitimacy.
CM has full support for other controllers on PS4, Xbox one... With full time authentication, I think titan couldn't copy their latest software improvements and specially full G29 emulation.

And the price is pretty good since you pay like 100eur for a modern controller with not much features while with CM you can make almost any mod you want with almost any controller out there.

The guy behind titan was CMs partner and they separated so he made titan...

It's not as if THAT much time has passed or they were taking pre-orders or anything. Honestly, these things can be glacial, but I do think any announcements were a bit premature, especially with the current "Amazon" generation's...lack of patience, heh.

Basically, it's the usual damned if you do and damned if you don't.

it would be so easy for them to address, just post a comment or photo or progress update.

hell even apple leaks gives us more information on a product then this
You JUST bitched about them "stalling" as a result of a delay - a delay, btw, which you should consider as a "progress update". Do you really now want them to release a video in the case that further delays or feature removal are warranted? That only leads to more bitching and moaning. Any video really only serves as evidence for claims, but this team has been around long enough that they don't really need it. If you're looking for a reason to apply 5.0, and feel good about it, then this scene probably isn't for you. It's volatile and unpredictable.

It seems to me like someone just thinks a announcement is made and magicly they skip production and testing. Its really not that hard of a concept to grasp. When its done it will be released nobody owes you a excuse or a timeline on when to expect a release.

Both devices are real, but the Titan is the original product as it’s from the original developer. CM is the same thing branded differently and uses a cracked version of Titan’s Gtuner software that they renamed to Cronus Pro Software.

In other words, think of the Titan as Hideo Kojima and CM as Konami. One is the genius inventor and the other is a greedy company.

I hear the other way around... And Cm has its own software now with better features and more features than titan one and they made a device just for wheels and now a new CM device is coming soon and I will probably go with it instead of the new titan.

I hear they were both working on CM early but the partners separated and then the other guy made the titan...

PS: anyway this is all to say that TX won't probably give any technical info about it since all their chips in the past weren't even expensive and were all copied... After release is were they can make their money for their work and findings because soon China will copy and start selling bad or not working TX copies, some might even damage the console...

"Please everyone just get along, its not our policy to ban people unless they are being overly rude to others, it does not matter if you VIP member or not, that does not give you right to be rude to new members.

What is welcome in this thread is speculation, you are free to discuss that among yourselfs openly, which there is alot of GBATemp, but there its all speculation, it does not contain any more official info then what is located here and on the front page.

To sum it up, as stated before our mod is 'future-proof', i know everyone screaming for 'more proof' after nintendo's big 5.0 release, but Don't Worry.. Be Happy.. Stay Clam.. Chillout..

There will be solderless and solder version, when the time comes as we get closer to release more info will be released, but due to cloners and e-famers, and other reasons, you will not see much more info posted like pics, etc. until just before pre-orders start, and we have not finalized a release date yet either, so don't whine about that either.

All I can say is things are moving smoothly, the prototype boards are in hands of our skilled development team, and they are busy putting the final touches to give you a complete nice solution for modding, improving and enjoying your Nintendo Switch to the fullest the hardware can take you!

they pretty much taking caution because in the xbox all of the chips they made were on aliexpress to be honest before they were released and other teams stole it.
so either wait for atmoshphere or wait for xecuter.
for me im going with the cfw 1.0 console and aint gonna rip open the switch solderless or solder .

Yep exactly my opinion TX must be very careful or their chip theoretically speaking could be copied before they could even make any money from their time invested into research and production.

And then copies might damage the console and off course TX won't give warranty for a fake chip... Always buy from official retailers.
