Best case scenario: Physical release of Mania with bug fixes, compete level transitions + new levels
If there was gonna be a physical release, it should have been last year. Not now when they didn't want to do it. Even the special edition with the statue and the genesis was still digital only game. Besides, $40 for a switch cart of that game when is the same game on eshop for half price? They better be adding something to it. Like sonic CD sonic 1 and sonic 2 mobile games.

Likely scenario: Werehog DLC for Sonic Forces

I really REALLY hope it's Sonic 3K taxman. Remove all the music, I wouldn't even care. Still sad the game was snubbed from the Sega Genesis collection they announced :/

To my knowledge, long story short is the potential reason SEGA refuses/is unable to remaster Sonic 3 is they don't hold exclusive rights to all the music tracks and Brad Buxer and/or MJ's estate are preventing them from using them or asking for extortionately high royalties.

So is this new or old news? Cause there is plenty of ports of sonic 3 available with the music... except that old sonic and knuckles collection from 1995
