Pictures of the final setup:
  • It can be seent the "All In One Window" setup, with the Homebrew Launcher, USB Loader Gx Forwarder, the folders with the different WiiU games, plus the 5 icons of the Nintendont, Wii64, SNES, and the rest, of the forwarder channels built by me.
  • The aspect of the hardware in the TV table accompained by the Switch :)

Why is there no Wii or GameCube games on your Wii U system menu?

Why is there no Wii or GameCube games on your Wii U system menu?

I think I write it clear...Anyway, the reason is that I dont't want to inject 65 games, one by one, just for having altogether in the same dashboard. Because that is actually the only "win" of having them injected in the WiiU menu, isn't it?

And in terms of organization, I prefer to have each platform separated (somehow), therefore:
  • Wii and GC games are accessible through USB Loader GX.
  • GC (separately) trough Nintendon't forwarder (with the possibility of playing directly with the Gamepad)
  • N64, SNES, GBA and NES same with the forwarder stuff.
  • I have some NDS games in VC mode accesible from Loadiine, but are residual.
Another thing that I don't know if happens, is that if I inject some Wii or GC game in the WiiU menu, is that If those games would be 4:3, which I really don't like.

Regards

No, the reason is that they all fit on one USB device. You don't need to have huge SD card since a 32 GB SD and 1TB USB hard drive are sufficent. Otherwise it's messy.

Interesting point of view...

I have some questions:
  • Will those Wii or GC injected games in the WiiU menu, will look in an extended 16:9 mode?
  • How do you perform the injection process, since you have the ISO file until is finally installed in the WiiU?
  • Do you do the injection one by one? (I assume that the installation is performed in batch mode with the WUP Installer).
  • Are all GC and Wii games compatible with injection?
  • How does the savegame data is managed in GC games?
  • How does the savegame data is managed in Wii games?
  • If I want some specific configuration regarding a GC game, for example: individual memorycard emulation and some specific screen width, how can I set it?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards

1) Yes, if you set that option using the injector.
2) Use the injector on the forums for PC. You can also download them on that "ISO site"
3)Yes. Install with batch mode after games are packed.
4)Yes
5)Save Data is handled through Nintendon't
6)Save Data is saved to Wii System data, just like real Wii Games.
7)Each game has their own Nintendont options, but you can set them each individually or make a universal one. The games autoboot if you want them to.

If I can't pack all the games (by console at least) in batch mode (having to do it one by one), it is absolutely not a good idea... or there is a way?

No, but you can just download them prepacked. You can install them in batch mode afterwards. Its better and you waste less money.

The thing is that despite the prepacked stuff, I have to firstly search one by one, and then re-select, one by one, each title. Then install them and test each one to see if the injection has worked...

From that reasoning, I absolutely prefer to pay a bit more to have it separated, but still very comfortable.

What I could try, and really add me added value, is to inject N64 16:9 titles... Is that possible, to create all the N64 titles injector in 16:9 format?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards

Just to let you know that FIX added libwudrc to all the classic GX emulators:

https://gbatemp.net/index.php?posts/7865303

Also you may consider to add RetroArch WiiU on the OP, on RetroArch's thread is everything you need to know to have a proper WiiU setup, for XMB customization there are plenty lots of wikis over Internet for information, I do recommend the official libretro's one since is the one I consulted.

It's not comfortable. It's sloppy. Using outdated methods that are harder to use. Not everyone has the ability to waste money like that so you have to take that into account.

Retroarch is really good and I don't know why it isnt on the guide yet. If you don't want people having issues with the files why not have a set up zip folder with all the settings to your liking?

Seriously? sloppy??? outdated methods????? waste money????? :hateit:

Allright, one direct question please, for yourself to start summing instead of just criticising....Is it possible to injecting N64 16:9 Screen Extended titles? How do you do that? Be concise please because I have been playing hide and seek with this topic and I didn't find anything..

Thanks in advance,

Regards

@Billy Acuña,

is it possible to have a prepackage Retroarch with a good XMB customization, or the libreto's or mayme yours?

As Sanic says there is not a guide or an already setup of it, and I would like to give it an opportunity...

Could you help us please?

PS: what is libwudrc exactly?

Many thanks in advance,

Best regards
You can only inject Wii and GC games

Yours is a nice one, but I wanted to precisely avoid get to swap storage devices when it is needed. With mine, it is more expensive of course, everything works without any need of change :)
I think you can achieve that through UStealth and the usage of a USB front port for the Wii/GC HDD, however you'll have only one USB port left to plug the GC adapter ^^' But I think that the second USB port of the GC adapter is just for the vibrations! Well, I think every setup has its pros and cons :) Interesting post though :)

In fact I am already using the UStealth setup for the Wii Games USB, situated in the below part of the back USB ports :)

Regarding the GC adapter, I am really happy using the Wii U Pro Controller for GC games and rest of emulations...

Thank you!

After many hours evaluating and testing the injection, I decided to stay with the already mentioned configuration. Everything is really stable and have flawlessly performance so, If some of you wants my SD to be shared, just tell me.

Best regards

Thanks for pointing these out, I never noticed these gems. FIX is awesome.

Does anyone know if libwiiudrc has been put into wiiflow by chance? That would complete my list for me.

This whole post is more like the ultimate piracy setup, with more games than you'd ever actually play. Once you see a user with hundreds of GB of content, you know for sure that it isn't backups. Gbatemp isn't really the place for that, it's not an iso site.

Where do you find any ISO in my post????

Are you pointing and accusing me of piracy without knowing ANYTHING about me???? This is incredible...What a lack of respect...
