I uh.. Also had another idea.

When doing a specific search, allow Searching based on the value inside of an address in addition to the normal "immediate" value searching. In other words, maybe put yet another checkbox for the Search Value Bar to specify whether to use the Value in the Textbox as an Immediate or an Address containing the value to compare to.

An then instead of comparing to the Immediate value in the textbox, check the value inside the Address everytime before performing the comparison with each result.

This would help to find the source for where Addresses may be getting their values from without losing results due to the value changing./QUOTE]
I don't really understand what you're asking for exactly. Any example or user interface changes to support your idea?

Also, I changed poking previous and current values back so that the current value does not get updated anymore like you preferred it.
hey can you help me figure out how the new jgecko u jar zip works? in the old version,it wasnt so many files and it was easier to notice the location of application but 4 sum reason im starting to realize that theres hardly nothing to help me finger this out.
It's one file. The JAR. Other files are created to save settings, codes and so on. It's pretty obvious.

If you got Trainers working then I guess we can skip the part on the Wii U.

So on your PC:
1. Download JGecko U.jar
2. Make sure you have JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed.
3. Double click JGecko U.jar like any other *.exe file (JGecko U will create files and folders in its current directory on the first start so may want to place it in a seperate folder)
4. Uncheck Auto Detect and put in the IP Address of your Wii U and press the Connect button
5. Press the Add Codes Button in the Codes tab
6. Enter name of the cheat code (Title field) and the code itself and press OK
7. Repeat step 5 and 6 if you have more codes
8. Check the codes you want to activate and press the Send Codes button
The codes should now be activated and running.

If this list helped you please let me know on what step you had problems before.

You click on the "Search" tab. Enter your search criteria and click "Search". It's pretty self-explanatory.
the "search criteria" is where the confusing part. I watch your video where to an idiot like me, all i saw you do is put in random numbers in random places and I didn't understand jack.

You have to know what you want to look for. The search can only find addresses which fulfill the criterias you set. I recommend reading some game hacking tutorials about finding things in games like score, moon jump, timers and so on. Only if you found them you can start making codes out of them.

A small tool I have written that lets you convert a Cheat Engine Cheat Table to a JGecko U Search zip. Purpose of this programm is when you do full (or partial) dumps and search them with cheat engine and lets say after 3 dump searches you still have many results left and want to narrow them down. Making another dump would cost much time and JGecko U could just easily search for this "small" amount of addresses.

Open the bat file in a text editor to see some examples on how to use the jar file.
Also included in the attached zip file is the source code.

@BullyWiiPlaza If this tool is useful not for just me then maybe you want to implement this feature directly into JGeck U

I don't wanna open a separate thread for this but has anyone ever used Diibugger? I'm trying it right now with absolutely zero success.

I didn't even try it either but it probably works though. Not as easy to use since it's Python and command line.
Well it does have a GUI. I just can't get it to connect. I boot as usual with the CBHC sigpatch then I launch the code.bin via the internet browser and then nothing. Can't get it to connect at all. Breakpoints would be so nice.

Btw, have you tried anything about JGecko not working with Twilight Princess?

Ah, well. The breakpoints in Diibugger are "useless". They are only execute breakpoints so you have to know the assembly addresses already and usually you don't. Read/write breakpoints would be nice but nobody made them work or published anything about it so we don't have them (yes, I tried but didn't manage to get them to work). Also I didn't figure out yet why it doesn't connect for Twilight Princess unfortunately.

I keep having a bunch of Java errors pop up on JGecko when I try to connect VIA IP address. Tried on 2 computers and also tried manual vs automatic.
Not sure why this is happening.
