If start up fbi one of the options in it will show all dif types of howbrew apps and can select what u want and install them. I can’t think of the selections name. It’s not hard to figure out. Maybe title.db

So if I buy a r4 gold 3ds plus do I need to do the methods to make the system compatible with playing nds roms before I do the ntrhax and if yes do I need a dsi to it?

Hi guys!

I'm a 140% NOOB, but somehow I just follow the instructions of 3ds guide, plus some youtube videos and I did it. I DID IT!
So now I have a used 2DS, with homebrew, CIA, FBI, lumia and the latest freeshop and of curse a lot of games. Everything is working fine, I'm very happy with the money I didn't spent.

So here goes the question(s), just have in mind that I'm from Portugal (EU):

1. can I download play USA/Japanese area games, being in Portugal? or I'm going to be banned?
2. Can I play it online/multiplayer? or I'm going to be banned?
3. Can I use street pass? or I'm going to be banned?

Hi everyone!
I just received a 3ds!!! So i can finally start tinkering with it

But being my first 3ds console and going away from gbatemp for years I'm a level below a noob and because of that i have some really stupid questions and hopefully you guys wont mind them enough to answer them

Because me gf has a sick sense of humor she bought me a pink ds.... is there any sticker a something i can cover it so it doesnt look that....pink?!
It came with firmware version 11.2 so i should be able to install e custom firmware in it. What id like to know is that if i install e custom frimware on it can i:
2.1 Run games from sd card?
2.2 Play multimplayers game online if launched from e ROM
Can i have two firmwares on the same console, one official and one custom?

hey there, a family member has a 3ds with fw 11.4.0-37E

he doesn´t want to do anything too complicated but I am gonna try and help him through with it

we are considering his options

he has an acekard2i DSI(XL) & 3DS which seems to be bricked, even on my dsl, the card isn´t detected

I have which I could sell to him the following cards:

R4 Revolution 3D Recolution for DS 3DS/DSI/DSL/NDS
&
DSTWO 2in1 cards

I have also seen on shop01media that the MT-Card is on sale at the moment and maybe it´s better to buy that instead?

what would be the best course of action? sell him 1 of my cards or make him buy a new one?

that card is beyond obsolete, and hasnt been updated in around 3 years or so

followed the guide , seems to go fine . except for the last part of the guide "You can now use Luma3DS Updater to update your Luma3DS to the latest version just by opening it and pressing (A)." i dont see where to update luma? but after that am i done? the guide kinda dwindles off around that point.. also doesnt mention where and how i load 3ds games... otherwise it was a great.

For 3ds games there's a guide in the first post of this thread for freeshop

maybe this is the problem then , i did everything on the guide and at the end i have no fbi program on 3ds menu. i have a partial file that wont run and has no picture for it. maybe the sd got corrupted? i updated the 3ds can i just redo everything?

got it , cias folder was deleted. put it back together and ran fbi through homebrew channel . looks like everything is going fine with installing freeshop.
