Homebrew Did they improve ntrboot flashcart compatibility?

I have a coworker looking to get his 3DS hacked. I told him I could get it done, but he would have to provide a flashcart. My model wasn't compatible when the exploit first released, but now the list says it is after I went to see how much it would cost him. Mine's an R4iSDHC GOLD Pro 2015, from r4isdhc.com.

I just wanna check before I tell him he might not need to get his own.

According to the compatibility list, your card is compatible with ntrboot

Also even if it werent compatible with ntrboot, there's a new hacking method called seedminer that costs $2 overall. In this case, go ahead and use your r4i and ntrboot.

I didn't find seedminer in 3ds.hacks.guide, what is that (just in case)? I'm sure he can spill $2 as opposed to $10 minimum if mine doesn't work.

The seedminer method is fairly new, it was only out for about a week now. I tested it when it was on version 1.2 and it took me 4 hours to brute force the file using my GPU. Now on version 2.0 it took me 47 minutes. There's a handy guide on this process here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/seedminer-fc-and-mining-help.496114/

It's a relatively simple process but you would have to get your hands dirty to figure some things out such as getting python to work if you never used it before.
