Hacking Installing NTR on a New 3DS at firmware version 11.6?

I was wondering if it's possible to install NTR CFW on the newest firmware version on the New 3DS and how to do it? In addition to that question, what exactly are the risks of using NTR cause I've been keeping it simple and stuck with Homebrew, so I have no idea what I'm possibly jumping into. Last question, what are some of the useful features that this gives access to?

Ntr cfw isn't actually a cfw, it's a program that runs on top of the cfw. What you want is boot9strap (a cfw launcher at boot) and luma 3ds (the actual cfw). To do this, toy need a $2 dsiware game (unless you already own a compatible one) and a friend online who has a 3ds with access to basic Homebrew at the very least (such as me).

Well, both me and my SO use Homebrew through the Cubic Ninja exploit, so that prolly helps. What game is needed for the boot9strap and Luma3DS thing?

I just happen to have one of the games that works for this exploit, that being Mario Vs Donkey Kong Minis March Again, but the two 3DS requirement is where I've run into a wall

Has 3ds.guide been updated to include seedminer?

You only need 1 3ds as long as you have access to the hbl. 3ds.guide wasn't updated to include the newest method. Follow the links linked above. Also, there is absolutely no risk or downsides to installing a cfw.

As long as you know how you use the windows cmd you're fine. If you don't, I can just tell you the commands when you need them.
