How does this differ from SRLoader?
I'm too lazy to explain or anything so here's some quotes:
First there was TWLoader (for 3DS/2DS users), and now there's...
View attachment 88295

This does what TWLoader does, loading ROMs from the SD card via nds-bootstrap, and ROMs from a flashcard!
DSi/3DS/2DS users can change sound frequency from 32kHz to 48kHz for higher sound quality!
Outside of flashcards, you can run DS games with clock speed of 133mhz (faster than normal DS).
Also has theme changing, and it has an option, where you can run the last played DS ROM (ran via bootstrap/flashcard's ROM booter) on SRLoader startup.

Also includes (Super) GameBoy (Color) ROM loading via GameYob.

NOTE: In this video, loading speed is slower than the current nds-bootstrap version.

Download
If you have a DSi, or a 3DS/2DS without CFW, you'll need a DSiWare exploit to run SRLoader.
Also works with flashcards. Please check the instructions for flashcard users.

Compatible DSiWare exploits for nds-bootstrap
They use GenericTWLPayload.
  • sudokuhax
  • fieldrunnerhax

Instructions (No flashcard, DSi users/Non-CFW 3DS/2DS users)
  1. Extract the files/folders in the 7z file, to the DSi's SD Card root.
  2. Put .nds ROMs in "sdmc:/roms/nds/".
  3. Put a Mario Kart DS ROM at "sdmc:/roms/nds/".
  4. Launch your exploted DSiWare game, and SRLoader will load!
  5. Press SELECT on MKDS to set it as donor ROM.
  6. You're good to go!
Instructions (No flashcard, 3DS/2DS users)
  1. Extract the files/folders in the 7z file, to the 3DS' SD Card root.
  2. Put .nds ROMs in "sdmc:/roms/nds/".
  3. Put a Mario Kart DS ROM at "sdmc:/roms/nds/".
  4. Install the SRLoader CIA, and launch it.
  5. Press SELECT on MKDS to set it as donor ROM.
  6. You're good to go!
Instructions (Flashcard users)
  1. Extract the files/folders in the 7z file, to the flashcard's microSD Card root.
  2. Put .nds ROMs in "fat:/roms/nds/".
Download a pack for your flashcard:
DSTT/R4i Gold/R4i-SDHC/R4 SDHC Upgrade/SC DSONE
Original R4/M3 Simply
R4iDSN/R4i Gold RTS/R4 Ultra
Acekard 2(i)/Galaxy Eagle/M3DS Real
Acekard RPG
Ace 3DS+/Gateway Blue Card/R4iLS/R4iTT
SuperCard DSTWO

Extract what's in "for Slot-1 microSD" to the root of the flashcard's microSD card.

You're good to go! Launch your flashcard, then boot "boot_fc.nds" (or "SRLoader" on DSTWO), and SRLoader will load!
Then, set your flashcard (and sound/mic frequency, if you're using a DSi/3DS/2DS).

Controls

  • Start: Settings
  • B: Return to DSi/3DS Menu
DS/3DS theme
  • Up/Down: Select a game/app.
  • L: Switch between DS and (S)GB(C) ROMs.

FAQs

Q: Why isn't touch input working on sudokuhax?
A: Depending on the save file of sudokuhax, the touch screen inputs may not work.

Q: Can The Biggest Loser boot SRLoader?
A: No. As The Biggest Loser is a Slot-1 game, and not a DSiWare game, SD access is disabled when running Slot-1 cards.

Q: Why do I get a white screen when trying to load a game from SD Card?
A1: If you're a DSi user, Please check the LED set in SRLoader settings.
  • WiFi/Camera: If it's on, that means it's loading from the ROM. If it's off for a while, and the screen is still white, that means the game is unsupported.
  • Power: If it's purple, that means it's loading from the ROM. If it's blue (or red) for a while, and the screen is still white, that means the game is unsupported.
A2: If the game is listed as compatible, or if you're running from flashcard, try loading the game again. SRLoader tends to crash before loading a .nds file for some reason.

Q: Why is sound working incorrectly?
A: For DSiWarehax users, the DSi BIOS is still being used in the arm7.
You'll need RocketLauncher for sound to work properly.

This thread is simply related to HiyaCFW. You're free to discuss any related things or questions here if you want while we are still waiting for its release.

For those of you who don't know, HiyaCFW is a brand-new custom firmware for the Nintendo DSi, similar to Luma3DS. It has RSA and signature patches, has a custom launcher, and is region-free. You will be able to install free DSiWare as well as custom apps and homebrew into the DSi Menu.

NOTE TO EVERYONE USING FWTOOL: Test your NAND in NO$GBA before injecting it! Do not flash the NAND with the NO$GBA footer still intact at the end of the NAND dump!
Be sure to check out @LukeHasAWii's guide here!

The RocketLauncher exploit itself is finished. But there are tons preparations to be made to become user friendly to all. Like installing it. That's why a fie manager is needed. twlnf could do it, but they're making their own where It's a couple clicks without having to dump your nand and ptch somethings in the whitelist.

I don't mind waiting actually waiting. I rather have a working exploit than a broken one that could screw up my system. A lot of people have to have patience. You can't rush these people. They also want to live their lives as well. They have them too. If you're really the type where you don't like waiting, oh well. You're going to have to wait anyway. :P
