Practically anyone can update a tonne of my codes super easily.

If you find the address that stamina is at, then add AE4 to it, and then search for that result between 10900000 to 10A00000.

You should find one address, and then you can replace the 109657EC in the old codes with the new address.

That should fix any code that uses that line in it.

..I’ve put lots of work into making codes easily updatable like that.

Thanks for the explanation. If you want to update your codes: 0x1096596C seems to be the 1.5.0 Base Pointer
Tested it with the Moon Jump and Run Fast codes

Thanks for doing this. Amazing how one line can fix so many things huh? The champion recharge should be fixable with that line as well, and my pointer works in ntsc and pal. Yours might not work on both and that’s why some users have problems.

I made my code from a EU (PAL doesn't sound right anymore) version and he also is from the same country me. So I guess he uses the same version. Out of curiosity did you find a code that works on one region but not the other? Because I guess the games are exactly the same just with a different Title ID. It's not like in the older days of gaming where there was no such thing as Updates and games were released with different versions between regions.
And yes it's pretty impressive what one line can do

It’s weird why it isn’t working for him then. I found in the past that Health was one of the codes that was different between versions. I had PandaOnSmack send me a dump of his game and I searched for pointers from there to make sure that the pointers I used worked on both versions.

Then I manually searched for pointers that branched off from it so I could be certain that every code that used that main pointer would work on both versions and also easily be updatable.

Technically any address within the range of..

[[Base address] - 0xB1C] + 0x0 to offset about 0x1800

Will vary between eu and US. At least they used to. And the reason this is because that range contains the data related to Link/the player.

Every “legitimate” pointer will have the name of the object it represents at offset 0x10 and health is usually located at 0x540. So any code that branches from links structure will vary between versions. ...or again, they used to vary I haven’t checked ever since only using a pointer that works on both.

Replace the second part of the first line in the old codes that contain 109657EC with 1096596C and it should fix those codes.

The weather codes use a different base address but they too are all based off of the same main pointer. But I think Ill have to do those codes myself unless someone knows how to find either the time or the weather. Then I could tell them how to backtrace the Base Address if they dont already know how.
