Just give us a Links Awakening remake with 4 Swords GC graphics - fukk yer 3D... And if it goes well, do a combined Oracle with the same setup.
Minish Cap might work with the Link Between Worlds style graphics, so that '3D' top down view would be my only 3D choice.
Link to the Past graphics are timeless and shouldn't be touched in my opinion.
The NES ones are just too old and would require a complete change, ruining them in the process, like they did last year (in my opinion!) with the Metroid 2 remake.. VC for those please..

I remember enjoying the DS games when played with a controller patch far more than the crappy stylus originals, perhaps a 1080p remake would be good (but I'm not sure either game is worth that)

I want an assassin's creed/skyrim remake with a zelda skin. More cutscenes but less story, only a handful of dungeons but with tons of puzzles with little incentive to complete them. Link needs to cross dress cause it wasn't funny enough the first few times. Also needs paid dlc and a few re-releases with a 60 dollar price tag. I have a feeling nintendo won't let me down.

That is true, plus we got rom patches/translations so can play it that way... that's as much of a remake as I'd like with those really: I beat that version but actually still prefer the NES original. The first game MIGHT work with the BoTW engine/gameplay actually...

ok then, which zelda game would you to have a direct sequel (a bit like MM to OOT)
Personally, I'd like to see Link be with Midna again, so yea, Twilight Princess 2 would be perfect for me

I love Midna but Twilight Princess wrapped up very nicely. A direct sequel will wreck it.

If we are just talking about the 2d games using a 3d graphics format then none of them really. All are good enough that they could be stuck in an emulator wrapper and put back out. If they want to do some light bonus modes then so it goes. Sure Zelda 1 on the NES is showing its age a bit but for the amount of rework that would have to be done (to say nothing of the rather non linear nature) it might as well be a whole new game.

If we are talking take minish cap and make it like it was Wind Waker then for many it would be like when Sonic went 3d. Lots of floundering and general nonsense and people leaving the franchise. The 3d zeldas are quite different to the 2d/handheld games in a lot of what I would probably end up calling fundamental ways.

If we were talking about the N64 efforts remade as modern games then might have something to talk about. Ocarina would probably have to be changed to be almost unrecognisable but Majora's could do well for it.

I'm not into remakes. Most of them provide only graphic "enhancements" and nothing more, no new ideas, no innovation, only more of the same utter crap (cof, cof, that lame brand owner and Microsucks... cof, cof).

Nintendo provides alike sometimes, but then I don't buy those even if I'm a fan of any of them. To replay them I emulate instead, there's nothing like playing (as smuch as possible) the original versions. And yes, I own every game I emulate, so then that mean I don't have that many, only those that are worth to keep IMO.

If you're talking about the game retaining its 2D gameplay while using 3D graphics (like Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, A Link Between Worlds) then I'd like to see the Oracle games packed together along with a newly-produced third Oracle game that they originally wanted to make.

If you mean having a 2D game get completely re-imagined in OoT/MM/TWW/TP/SS/BotW style 3D, then..... Zelda II maybe?

I want new games, not remakes at this point.

I have faith in Nintendo to make better games than they have in the past and create better, more creative mechanics + lore.

Its companies like Square Enix where you'd push them towards remakes as they sit on a few IPs which are incredible and incredibly outdated.

reamking original zelda or zellda 2 into 3d would fell like a complete new game without those outdated sprites and could have alot more stuff added from combat, abilities and such.

Nintendo are better than that.

Nintendo have shown in each new Zelda a fresh outlook on story and game mechanics. They are too good to re-make some old title and update a few mechanics.

I also don't think Nintendo games, especially Zelda ones have aged very badly. I can see a clear case for something like FF7 being re-made for example, as it looks terrible.
