Wrong. If your gpu is a bottleneck for emulator - cpu overclock really wont show any improvements. BUT if it is not - cpu will have major speed profit if single-core was improved in some way (660ti for example is more that enough for mhxx on x8 internal res and it isn't loaded more that at 60% in quests)
From the other hand - nvidia settings do "magic" not only for emulation. And performance mode + tripple buffering helps even in usual games in many cases.

Also for another example - i7 [email protected] runs mhxx well and ofc not loaded full cause no real multicore support for emulator yet - but i3 2100 at stock already can do like only 20fps in same sick/mingw 18-01 build.

@Senjosei how are those filters coming?
its getting there basicly everything is working theres just some special cases i need to handle like this weird blue artifacting. (Left is how its supposed to be right is the current state)

i am trying to creep up on the lizard on the hunting ground part, but i am having hard time doing it
i use a f310 with 360 cheap dg8 working perfectly
under you can turn on the cheap xbox or directinput ..nice because you can assimilate a push keyboard button on your gamepad for your microphone ...with games profiles also

I know every other question is along the lines of "hewp me pwease i don't have any fps for mhxx ;w;" but that's kinda where I'm at atm and I'm trying to get everything set to where I can reach full emulation speed in the village at least

I've messed with the tickrate up and down for the HEAD-8a57890 build (it's probably the one person whose name starts with a V that did it, it's also the one with the 3D Slider UI) and I can't get it working. I've got a really good PC too, so I'm really kinda at my wits end with this. It's a hyperthreaded quadcore at 3.8GHZ and it's an AMD Bulldozer APU, and I have a GeForce GTX 650 Ti. Again, if there's any extra tweaks I'm not getting, I'd LOVE to know. I'm literally just wanting to get MHXX up to playable speeds, but Kirby Fighters Deluxe seems to work just great.

Oh, I also have it set to 30 vertices per thread.

did you disabled 3D option in title menu of mhxx? =\ thats the most boost you can do aside ticks modding... and nvidia settings that was discussed past page.

I'm trying to get everything set to where I can reach full emulation speed in the village at least

Fun fact n1 - village is most laggin place in game with 3d enabled in game settings lol

oh thank god, i had a sneaking suspicion that's what it was, that the village was the only problem area
i THINK i disabled 3D, i didn't apply the english patch like i did on my 3DS, i grabbed it straight off the eshop with the USB Helper

Yeah, 3D is turned off and I get 38-45% speed in the village. The menus are great, though. I haven't been able to get past the village to get into a quest unfortunately since the game just runs SO slow
The slider is turned to 0 in the UI and it's off in-game. I dunno what else to do except the tick value and vertices. I did go into NVIDIA settings and do a program specific profile and turned on triple buffering and set it to performance mode for power options, that's all right, right?

Have you tried these? They might be worth a try. Though your CPU is probably too weak to get full speed in the starting village either way.

Now I may not have the exact answer on why some Indians don't have powerful PC. But from what I research, most Indians use Linux OS, some people who own Windows only have XP and 32 bit, and some part of the country is under poverty.

So yeah. It's pretty sad. I don't mean that India is poor or only sell poor PCs(almost all places sell those PCs), but I'm pointing out that they only have those computer for business and not gaming and stuff. I mean, the only way to buy a powerful PC is through online.

But asking for a 32-bit build would be impossible to do as most of the codes on the repo only supports 64-bit. The only closest 32-bit build would be the 2016 build(it won't have speed boosts and other amazing stuff for it). Now, it's possible to convert some 64-bit codes to 32-bit but you need alot of time to convert every single lines and test it.

I am at the final board of dragon quest 8 on the citra emulator and i am getting alot of slowdowns on it

how can i fix this problem

They are upscaled but im 'trying' to turn them off. Trying because telling the difference between a video and a texture is hard e.g poke oras video still gets upscaled cuz it escaped my detection. Bcuz unless u have a super powerful PC upscaling a texture 30x a second is almost impossible

well,i play the todomachi 137 and try add dlc for shin megami tensei IV by going in "install cia",open the game and freeze in black,funny yet,the fps got slow! lol

opposite side from blast master zero for update 1.3,got the version Number on the tittle and even in the game icon on citra,but i can't acess the dlc to play with shantae... : /

Edit: To Go To The DLC File It's Almost the Same way to the Save game,but back from "00040000",back,"tltle" here is the DLC content pastes,like this:

\user\sdmc\Nintendo 3DS\00000000000000000000000000000000\00000000000000000000000000000000\title (here)

it's just for someone to know and to delete the DLC if the game don't open for ya! o/ ;)
