You can update via freeshop or the normal way, games don't appear unless someone uploads the key and it's in the cache. If you want it on freeshop, buy it from eshop and upload the keys to that site.

Just wondering why I cannot see Mario party the top 100 in freeshop, I am on version 4.1.1 with a 141 cache version and the latest game being pokemon crystal, My friend who is on version 2.2.0 has it on his list and is able to download it with his cache version being 74 and his latest game is kirby but on that first page is mario party top 100
I have it installed via fbi but I prefer having them all downloaded in the same place, any answers would be great, I have tried refreshing and reinstalling freeshop and the cache many times to no avail

Perhaps this is just because it's the nightly, but on boot I get the Psycho violin screech and the bottom screen is shared by both the UI and the log output overlapping one another. Otherwise everything works fine. Is there a way to fix either? For reference, I did install the latest CIA over a rather old version. I have not yet tested if removing freeShop completely and reinstalling fixes it.
EDIT: Fixed by me not being a dangus. I had downloaded the latest nightly which is out of date compared to the most recent stable release. All is well in the world with the latest stable.
