I have 5 AAA games and only one of them is from the WiiU (Zelda), the other 15 games, yeah, I have Mario Kart 8 from the WiiU. I don't understand what you're talking about...
I meant people bought a console knowing that there aren't much EXCLUSIVE games to play with.
Well, from my 20 games... I have 8 exclusives, I can't say the same for my PS4 though
That's according to the logic that people buy consoles based on the exclusives. That logic works when the exclusives are the main differentiating factor. However, I think that a large chunk of people bought a switch because it's both a handheld and a console.
Nintendo handhelds have always been a hit in Japan. The Switch is no difference.
So few people bought the Wii U that the ports might as well be exclusive.

A good majority bought the PS2 because it was a cheap DVD player. It had great games, yes. The biggest selling point was the DVD capabilities though.
Wow stupid post. Alot of people who bought the switch skipped on the wiiu. Also the switch has a lot more exclusive AAA games that I'd rather play right now than on my PS4 or Xbox one.

well, sales kinda prove it, the switch has already outsold the wii u's entire life time sales already in under a year and so far the switch re releases have been outselling there wii u counterparts
