I use old version 1.3.6 and work great. But 1.7 (freeze MENU)

As stated numerous times throughout the last few pages, you have to change the menu driver from XMB to rgui. Why retroarch freeze with me with last version?

what settings? and which version?gpsp work very good on o3ds with special settings
Neo Geo is suffering from the sound issue that hit your unofficial 1.4.1 build.
And for some reason, Metal Slug 3 has decided to freeze the menu when I pick "Load archive". It wasn't like this before.
hello i installed retro arch 1.6.9 stable and loaded the ps1 emulator and it kept crashing before i even loaded a game

The latest versions are stable as well. The crashing bug was fixed a few versions ago and the XMB menu was also fixed in nightlies.Without knowing anything else about your setup, the best advice is to use an older build. 1.3.3 is a stable version of PCSX. I don't know if it's available on the git anymore, but that's where you should check.
I tried cranking up the volume in the latest build: it still sounds better on 1.4.1. I mean, if things worked just fine without changing anything before, why shouldn't they work now? And this goes for loading Metal Slug 3 also. Unfortunately it's stuff that probably won't get fixed soon, as the github stated not to bother with core issues, like you said.I highly doubt the libretro team will accept this as an issue. But you could try to present it on the official git.
I personally have turned up the audio in settings and saved it as a core setting. I will not try to trace down the issue myself. Sorry.
And since XMB seems stable again, XMB with playlists is the way to go.
They're gone unless someone else has them. I have the CIA version of 1.4.1 (which doesn't include PSX if you're wondering).I just wonder if old release can be downloadable on official site?
Versions older than 1.6.0 are vanished from official download site.
yes please do. I want gpsp cia for playing GBA games. They're gone unless someone else has them. I have the CIA version of 1.4.1 (which doesn't include PSX if you're wondering).
I must warn you, gpSP isn't that great, yet. It may be possible that a future version could surprise everyone with minimal crashing, but as it stands your best bet is injections. Yeah you'll give up save states and such, but injected ROMs are, for the most part, playable.yes please do. I want gpsp cia for playing GBA games.
but from my testing, the more recent gpsp, the more crashes.I can play the english translation of F-Zero Climax at full speed 60fps on the latest nightlies, with no graphical bugs or crashes, and no other GBA solution for the 3DS can play it at full speed. You should seriously just update instead of trying to find old version that are no longer supported.
