I need some info here, this might be a silly question. So I did get a PS4 Slim on 4.01 and the package date was November 2016, so it is still in the box(opened only once to check fw), so my problem is that I will be unable to play my PS4 until May 2019 due to some personal reasons. Will keeping the PS4 unused, cause the CMOS battery or something to die?
Bought an Infinite Warfare bundle (black) from Amazon, and it came with 4.07. So bummed right now. *sigh* the hunt continues.

Nope, it was 4.07. It came new/sealed today, and I was shocked to find that it was over 4.05. Returning to seller.
Yeah it's a bundle and has the same box art as the other exploitable units. Here's a pic of the front.

oh dang I just saw your post. so maybe these are later batch runs? I wonder if anybody else can share some findings on this bundle.
Managed to pick up a new PS4 Slim Watch Dogs 2 Bundle on fw 3.55 and a PS4 Fat 1TB Ultimate Players Edition which is still sealed in the box as it's guaranteed to be less than fw 4.05.
@kei_dash, what do you think about this example with fw 4.07 ? P/N is lower than P-27452396-L but SKU is CUH-2015A

We have examples about EUR PS4 (EU8 PS4, no UCS PS4), then we can not confirm about a CUH-2015A UCS PS4.
It is lower than P-27452396-L it must be in <4.05 but it's 100% confirmed for PS4 outside EUR Zone.

Is it come with FW below 4.05? The seller do not allow me to return the console after I break it's seal so I am really confusing now
