you can get dark souls and other 360 and ps3 ports for cheaper on those consoles and pc and the switch versions only have slight upgrade over the last gen versions.

Slight? I wouldn't call dedicated servers for online play and the chance to play a souls game with a big influx of brand new players a slight improvement. Save money and buy a dead game with no players or buy a new game with lots of players and dedicated servers.

EDIT: I can't wait to revisit this game on my PS4 Pro. A nice solid 60 fps, 6 player online with the password system and maybe, just maybe, Lost Izalith will no longer be so grossly incandescent.

@SoslanVanWieren Why do you keep making threads telling people what to do all the time?

Let's be honest, everyone can do whatever they want. If someone wants Dark Souls on the Switch, even for home use, who are you to tell them they shouldn't get it? Most people already have the last gen ports and may be interested in getting the Switch version for updated features, online, etc. or they had no way to play the game on other systems (eg: those without a WiiU that want BotW can get it on Switch). Also, support for things like Dark Souls on Switch will actually be a thing compared to the dead support for PC version for example.

It's worth mentioning this is coming out for basically everything, not just the Switch. Even PC will get the remaster.

Who buys a Nintendo console for ports anyway?
I'd usually agree with this, but the Switch is different. It's the perfect console to buy for ports, since you can free them from the tether of a home console and play them anywhere. People keep complaining about ports, but honestly? People complained at a lack of third party support for the Wii U, seeing all these companies wanting to test the water isn't a bad thing. I suppose those who primarily use their Switch as a home console may be inclined to disagree though.

I agree. I mainly have my PC for gaming, but it's a desktop, so portable devices or small home systems that can play the same games are a great thing to have, so I won't have to spend holidays and stuff without my games when I have to go to my mother's.

I blitzed about 15 different build playthroughs of DS on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC many times over. I'll still get for the switch for the portability and grinding hours you can put onto it.

The Dark Souls for 360 is just Dark Souls, the upcoming Dark Souls is a remastered version, i don't know if you know what that means but feel free to give it a Google search.

And stop telling people what to do.

Why are you telling us ? Most people already knew that. That's your opinion and that's your decision. The Ps3 version had a frame issues. Yeah, I am getting it for N Switch on a go and PS4 for a home only. This game is going to have a greatly improvement over PS3 version. Dont get it if you dont want to. This game rocks, man!

I'll do exactly what you say because you know how to spend my hard earned money.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

At least when I pause skyrim and turn off my switch, when I come back to it it starts immediately instead of waiting 20 minutes for the console to boot and the game to load.
