Lol I meant how back then every kid seemed interested in it, carried their copies around, talked about it at school (in the US), kinda like what Odyssey is in this age. I find the sociology fascinating.

Man I watched it as a kid in the early 90s, and immediately hated it, because it was such a loose adaptation that it didn't seem anything like the Mario I had grown to know and love.

As a kid all you saw was "Mario Bros" and that was that. Growing up, you tend to notice just how bad a lot of your favorite things were. Like the Super Show for instance.
That was confusing for sure! I wonder what game the new one will take after...Galaxy?
Lol still love that show. A lot of hidden adult jokes. I miss Albano and Wells.
