bit of some weirdness. I was playing Super Mario World on the SNES Classic, and noticed something that maybe someone here can help with. I had the cape that allows Mario to fly....which I love. I needed to stop playing. So, I went back a little bit to a ghost house, went back through it, and it asked me to save....which I did. But when I came back to the game later on, it started me as tiny Mario with no cape and not even the extra feather that I had in the little reserve box at the top of the screen. Was this an issue on the actual SNES ? It's really annoying.
Still trying to get zapper working with NES classic and I followed KMFD guide but I still can' get it working. Does this only work with a certain revision of Retroarch?
Exec=/bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /var/games/CLV-U-XXXXX/CLV-U-XXXXX.sfrom.7z --volume 100 --retroarch
Path=/var/saves/CLV-U-XXXXX
Exec=/bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /usr/share/games/CLV-U-XXXXX/CLV-U-XXXXX.sfrom.7z --volume 100 --retroarch
Path=/var/lib/clover/profiles/0/CLV-U-XXXXX
-Paths in desktop files should point to /var/games Paths are now /var/games
instead of /usr/share/games and /var/saves instead of
/var/lib/clover/profiles/0. Old paths would still work. But, they break once
you boot snes to nes or vice-versa. These will work in both modes.
he kmfdmanic what is now the right path in the desktop file
orCode:Exec=/bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /var/games/CLV-U-XXXXX/CLV-U-XXXXX.sfrom.7z --volume 100 --retroarch Path=/var/saves/CLV-U-XXXXX
Code:Exec=/bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /usr/share/games/CLV-U-XXXXX/CLV-U-XXXXX.sfrom.7z --volume 100 --retroarch Path=/var/lib/clover/profiles/0/CLV-U-XXXXX
because i am unclear with that text in your readme
that would mean many many hand work to rename
then i must nothing change?
uff then i must not change 789 desktop files.
then you shut delete this passage in the readme
have i overseen something?
ok ok i look at the videos in the moment.
i was some days away from the thread
yes i make it at the moment.
thx i dont knew that tool before.
edit:
and an error because i change the 21 original games too ^^
Yeah so that nobody gets the weird idea to stretch the games to 16:9It's a shame the aspect ratio is hard coded in Canoe
@KMFDManic
Yer that's the one. Do I need to use the retroarch build shown in that video if so I can't find it anywhere can you repost it please.
Using a later release I can get the crosshair up but I cannot move it using the second controller even with changing the options in retroarch
The crosshair, I move using a mouse. I do it all on USB-HOST. Maybe that is why you had issues, because you were attempting it with controller? And, it still works fine on current RetroArch. You need to /bin/fceumm Enable in options ability to use zapper as mouse, then in controls, enable mouse as player 2. I can test with 2nd controller, to see if that is possible, as well. I honestly never thought of doing it that way. But, I can do a quick test, to see if it is possible. But, for now, I have been running it via a mouse
