00 = Small Mario
01 = Super Mario
02 = Fire Mario
03 = Mini Mario
04 = Propeller Mario
05 = Penguin Mario
06 = Ice Mario
07 = Flying Squirrel Mario
08 = Power Flying Squirrel Mario

Are these also the values for the World Map power-ups?

EDIT: seems not. If anyone can assist me in hacking an infinite world map inventory code for NSMBU I'd appreciate. I'm using Cemu so all I can search on is numbers. Assuming, if you have only one stored power-up, it is held in the same place in memory, all I need to know is the correct item codes (the above didn't work for me).

I think it worked before so can someone please find the GitHub commit which broke it? All you need to do is try all versions of the ELF and see which one connects. Then we can easily work out a fix.

I followed your link for the GitHub commit and the oldest version of tcpgecko.elf I could find was from Feb. 27th 2017, but no luck trying to connect with that one either (JGecko U just times out shortly after trying to connect). Are there any older versions of tcpgecko.elf that I should try in combination with older versions of JGecko U possibly? I'm willing to help get this issue sorted, just tell me what I need to do and I'll try my best to get it done.

If JGecko U says something else than "connection timed out: connect" then it was successful. That includes other similar "errors" so just keep that in mind while trying.

Okay cool, thanks for the tip. I'm testing the different versions of tcpgecko.elf from the GitHub commit as we speak.

I think I'm still a little confused though. Since the oldest version of tcpgecko.elf on GitHub commit isn't connecting, wouldn't there be an older version where it did connect or am I missing something?

I dont know if someone had made this question... but

is there a way to use the Kexploit 31 on 5.5.2?

Some of the trainers dont work with TCP Gecko from HBL....

I "downgraded" Breath of the Wild to 1.4.0 but I transferred everything including save data to another Wii U (which I planned to do anyway) which means I never had to deal with the versions file that prevents downgrading. I also turned off automatic software downloads and set the DNS to block Wii U updates (which also blocks game updates from downloading). now all of the 1.4.0 codes work again. it's not like updates are even needed. Aonuma himself said there won't be any more content for BOTW so I suppose this is it. the only other way to do this would be either to port all the codes (again which is so soon) to 1.4.1 or to do the same thing on the same Wii U instead but you'll have to mess with the versions file. the easiest thing I can think of instead of editing the versions file is to trick the Wii U into resetting the versions file somehow so it detects 1.4.0 as the latest one it has installed so far. then you simply get the 1.4.0 update from Wii U USB helper (it lets you download older update versions) and download it directly to your large SD card you use for Wii U (no worrying about ftp transfers) then move the folder out of /DATA/ and put it in /install/. then install it with WUP installer. one more thing. make sure save data was never overwritten when 1.4.1 was installed or none of this work. this should hopefully tie people over since the 1.4.1 update was too soon and 1.4.0 codes were just finished recently.

This can be shortened, since each address is incremented by 4 and it's writing the same value:

In C it would look something like this:

Code:
for (int i = 0; i < 0x98; i++)
{
    *(unsigned int *)(0x3562CA74 + (i * 4)) = 0x3E703E7;
}

@skoolzout1 Were you ever able to start on that code?

I did some experimenting yes. I didnt test a lot, but it seemed like had gotten Special smash working online.

I only tested in FG, but it worked. I had a handicap, we were tiny and so on and so forth.

Of course we disconnected due to the nature of how Online works.

As for 8 player smash, I got 8 player smash to load by default whenever selecting regular smash, but if used online it will put you into an empty match with 4 player slots, and you can select the stage, but nobody will ever find your lobby...

No clue how ill be able to fix that if its issues with the server not knowing how to coordinate 8player smash matches.

Were you able to get control over the rules? Even just being able to set Stocks/Time and choose real stages would be enough for me. I do find it to be cool that you could get Special Smash working too. Thank you for taking the time to research this. If I could have a code for the rules/random portion, that would be nice.

As for never getting any matches, It's possible that Nintendo's Server-Bans are related to some capacity. If it's due to the code itself, an interesting thing to note is that in most to all of the online matches, the original creator wasn't the host. He already had a player there.

Toad Stool said that His method was swapping the With Friends menu with the For Glory one. Not sure if you did this, but it could be insightful.

Also, were you able to select the True Miis from the CSS?

The rules were grayed out still since i hadnt actually swapped anything like toadstool. Rules could still be set or changed through codes im sure if needed. Again, i didnt put much testing into this. I haven't made a true code for anything yet.

Also no, i did not put any time into trying to get the mii's to be selectable, but i did find where the character ID that you select from the CSS is stored. I might be able to extrapolate from there into changing it into picking the Miis instead of the actual character you clicked on screen.

Not sure, no promises. This method can be much more limited than actual modding through Sm4sh explorer.

@BullyWiiPlaza about the Twilight Princess problem: I just downloaded the oldest commit of TCPGecko.elf and codehandler.bin I could find (6498401) and when I try to connect with JGecko the gamepad just says "Illegal command byte received: 0x84) and the console crashes, I guess I'd need an older version of JGecko as well? That happens for every game btw, not just TP
Commit bd01f31 from May 24th 2017 already has the connection problem but people have definitely been using the trainer for the game back then...
Shot in the dark here, but could it be a Java issue?

Nice. Since the console crashed, that means the connection worked. Can you please find the commit which broke the connection to Twilight Princess the first time? "Illegal command byte received" versus "Connection timed out: connect". Then it can be fixed quite easily I guess. This is a TCP Gecko Installer problem. It mostly is.

I just tried the oldest commit again and it seems like I tried connecting too early last time. When I wait until the save selection screen I still get the connection timed out error. As soon as you reach the title screen it becomes in possible to connect with any version of the installer, pretty sure @.44 Magnum has tried every commit available

@skoolzout1 , have you figured out any codes for BOTW 1.4.1 yet? I've been holding off on putting 1.4.1 on my Wii U until all the codes I use are updated first. I only really need Perfect Stealth. The others are built into joffnerd's trainer. Did the offsets for Stealth even change between versions? I heard a rumor that 1.4.1 requires the latest Wii U update to work. Is this true? Also, could you PM me a specific RAM dump? I'll PM you the details if you are able.
