Hacking Recently hacked my PS3, what to do?

I recently hacked my PS3 and it's running Ferrox CFW.
I've got some questions:

1- Is PSNPatch enough to reduce my chances of getting banned?
2- How do i play PS3 backups? I've got a game that is in a folder named "PS3_GAME", where should i put it?
3- There are "essentials" homebrew apps for me to install?

For going online I advise PSNpatch + PSNninja, but that's just my opinion. PSNpatch alone should suffice (source)

I've installed the PSNPatch and the PSNPatch plugin and did the button combination but it didn't did anything. Something is supposed to happen?

I'm afraid my knowledge does not expand to that length. Only thing I can think of is ccapi meddling with stuff again.

Psn patch plugin is all you need. Just when you activate online mode don't touch any hack stuff just go straight into the game. And make sure your cfw is on the latest version.

And the button combination will cause you P's3 to beep. If it doesn't it means you didn't install it properly

For backups use webman, though I forget where you need to put the games.
