sorry if this has already been addressed but I'm running 3.0.1 on windows 10 fall update and during the conversion i get GETEXTTYPEPATCHER.exe has stopped ive tried running as admin and compat mode any ideas?

Maybe you haven't enough space on your Windows partition.

@KhaderWelaye : An idea of a new function could be the possibility to choose a diferent path than "%tmp%\WiiVCInjector" to make the conversion because it could be a problem if you couldn't free enough space on the partition where temp files are stored. The conversion need lot of free space to be achived and selecting an other folder on an other NTFS partition could solve this problem easily.

That was the first thing i checked i have 80gb free

Since I can't provide the main.dol because it's copyright material I prepared a folder to simple patch.

Note it only applies to the USA version of the game (I tried DCKR v1.01)
What it patch: Y=run, B=jump, ZR=blow/stomp
  1. Open your ISO with WiiScrubber
  2. In DATA partition look for main.dol file, right click extract and save it on DKRC CC patch folder
  3. In the DKRC CC patch folder open apply_patch.bat
  4. With the main.dol patched go to WiiScrubber again, select main.dol right click replace and select the patched main.dol
  5. ???
  6. Profit
Now you can inject your shiny new DKRC with gamepad support :P

The patcher .exe is part of @Wiimm tools, and the .gct code is from @crediar so I don't take credit on that.


I just wanted to thank you for posting the patcher.rar and instructions. Worked like a charm. I knew it could be done but didn't know how it was patched and because its old Wii stuff couldn't find much info. I love it as I really never could stomach DKRC with all that waggling crap. The game is so much more playable as it is so much more precisely controlled. I have only played on gamepad but will try with real CC or CCP. It might only be a little better if it had L stick control option (dpad is fine).

Any idea if any of the other sidewise remote games like Wario Shake or NSMB or Kirby were ever patched?

They work fine for me when you install something and get the question mark it means the banners are wrong so that is your problem.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I got it working, haha. And yeah I guess I installed the banners wrong somehow because when I did the exact same thing again it worked.

This is totally unrelated to injection, but I have a problem. I want to replace the HBL BOOT music (so, bootSound.btsnd) by making my custom one, then replacing the old one in FTPiiU Everywhere. I tried, however now, on boot the hbl plays no sound and it goes to black screen after boot animation. Is there a way to "validate" bootSounds?

Not sure why this question is coming up now, c2w patching hasn't changed from the old script to the new injector program. c2w patching has the same effect on forwarders, so no you don't need to injected the homebrew itself. Just keep injecting forwarders like you have been.

@KhaderWelaye @cucholix about the idea of rating parental control, perhaps this could be done automatic puting a xml file in the title id folder on the github based on game rating??!!

Khader mention that the rating was in his todo list. It would use gametdb.xml to check the game rating and publisher.

@kevinbrew NSMBW couldn't recognize the gamepad, though it's playable with the CC when patched, Kirby RtDL is a no no, the game blocks itself when it detects a patch in the main.dol, Epic Yarn never had a CC cheat code, no idea about Wario Shake.

I think there is a flag in the meta.xml for whether online is permitted or not, not sure if it's just a simple 0/1 flag though considering the DRC_USE flag is a weird obscure value

This is the default line:

This could be as simple as setting this to 1 instead of 0, let me know if that solves your issue and I'll just set the default value to 1.

Will the vWii NAND Title Launch work on Virtual Consoles games, bought from the regular wii to Wii U? or will i have to buy them on Wii U via Wii Shop Channel, again.

Okay I just used Ftpii Everywhere to Mocca, went into the place where the title is installed in USB and changed the meta.xml from inside /meta/ with the value for 1 inside "online_account_use".

Ran the game but I'm still getting "Error code 20100.
Unable to connect to the Internet"

Not sure what I might be doing wrong :P
Has anyone else tested this game already with online?
