What? My username was literally “Crystal the Glaceon” and I have been playing the games since the launch of Red/Blue.
The games were bad because they lacked any real substance. It was mostly dialogue with very small/linear areas to catch Pokémon. The games were also extremely easy to the point where it was almost insulting. And it’s not like they don’t know how to blend story and gameplay. Black(2)/White(2) all belnded the story wonderfully into the gameplay.
I did like the changes they made though, they were just poorly implemented.
I love Pokémon enough to realize when I am getting a subpar Pokémon game.

The game was stupidly easy. And don't get me wrong i don't like everything about the games. (The battle tree was so freaking stupid i cant even...) But overall i liked them. I did feel disappointed a bit about some parts. The game never felt..... well... whats the word.... Alive.

Pretty much why I dropped mid playthrough. I was bored.

Now compare them to the previous story heavy games like B(2)/W(2) and you can see why I didn’t care for Sun/Moon.
If US/UM turn out to be good games and make up for their predecessors faults, I will buy them

If I couldn't pirate them, I would certainly buy them. I have done so with almost all other Pokemon games (except D/P and S/M)

I had the steelbook on preorder since it first was on Amazon for preorder. I cancelled it a month ago once I found out this is an alternate story game instead of a sequel like W2/B2 is.

The way I see it I have given Nintendo a lot of my money and I still end up buying like 10-15 games for each console I own (mostly 1st party Nintendo games) so I don't feel bad about pirating some games.
The games I pirate are usually ones I wouldn't have bought anyway.

this gen might just be my favorite for many reasons. so of course, I purchased the preload the day it became available.

I can't understand people who don't like it but each to their own ahah I was so excited when they announced these games.

no I won't get it as I didn't get sun/moon.All the latest pokemon games are just clones of x and y with a different package.This company should start making pokemon games for the switch with updated graphics.This Assassin's creed strategy should stop.
