I'm guessing its a Moonshell thing but I'd love to be able to pause with videos and music as well as the fastforward/rewind. I'm yet to be bothered by the DS-Wii thing as I bought Pokemon Pearl but as far as the future goes and for others sake ( though wouldn't that make all these hacked mons/trainers easier to come across? :'( ) would be handy.

no there are only 4. Right now only number 3 and 4 are out in japan.

You're totally right.
... But I think I said the same thing

You could say there are even more... This is going completely offtopic

- Gyakuten Saiban 1 (GBA and PC - Japanese only)
- Gyakuten Saiban 2 (GBA and PC - Japanese only)
- Gyakuten Saiban 3 (GBA and PC - Japanese only)
- Gyakuten Saiban: Yomigaeru Gyakuten (DS remake of GS1 + extra case 5, English translation included as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney)
- Gyakuten Saiban 2 (DS remake of GS2 with English translation included as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All)
- Gyakuten Saiban 3 (DS remake of GS3 with English translation included as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations)
- Gyakuten Saiban 4 (DS - Japanese only - has yet to be released in the US / Europe as Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney).

You could count the fifth case of GS1 as a whole new game... I guess.

Dont forget the japanese PC versions

Im pretty happy with the R4 features as is
although I would make use of the wii connectivity
and the fix for the newly 'protected' games
wouldnt mind an option for more themes too
although the Godot theme im using is doing quite well at the moment

also I'd like someone to reverse engineer the play yan, and its garage games, to enable them to be played on a flash cartridge.

I threw the idea up at the GBADEV forums and they provided a little information on the subject

Shoulder buttons L & R
One is pause, one is next track/vid. Can't remember which - I don't use them (because I keep skipping the rest of a track when I want to pause it). You can lock them in the menu so's you put it back in your pocket.

I wish they will add support for CodeBreaker DS codes.
I know R4 already supports Action Replay DS codes but adding Codebreaker support wont hurt.

I agree; moonshell desperately needs ff/rw. I used to have the south park movie on it, but I couldn't even fast forward so I just deleted it.

If we are talking about fixing things... how about Moonshell and the soft reset issue that has been around since version 1.08? It is a little annoying when you have a guide you are reading in Moonshell to go with the game you are playing...

It's not that big of an issue since the soft reset update in firmware 1.11. if you use moonshell's version of moonshell it is bad, but if you use r4's version of moonshell it works pretty well.

anyway, this is all that I think moonshell needs before I will absolutely LOVE it.

1. better sensing for where the @#%$ing stylus is (I'm sick of trying to change the settings and it thinking I didn't even click there, or trying to turn on l/r lock and soft resetting. >_

Sorry if I was unclear, I didn't mean the soft reset in Moonshell, that is fine in the last release. I am talking about moonshell not booting at all when you have th soft reset for GAMES turned on. That issue has been in the firmware for a while now.

soft reset works for me since 1.11, you just press start once your in moonshell and it takes you back to the main screen.

Looks like some people need to RTFM

No never in a milion years!
Jeeze just because its been a week past the usual 'new firmware per month' date, doesnt mean the R4 is dead. . .
Ofcourse it'll be released, nowhere states its EVERY exact month per release. In the meantime i'm worrying about WMP 12, microsoft hasnt even announced it yet! ¬_¬

where did anyone get the idea that it has a certain date every month?

besides, the r4 people like to have a list of a few things that are corrected in the update. just the arm7.bin update is not that much of an update. they are probably working on some other stuff to go in the update.

p.s. it comes out in china first so we don't have a set time from converting from chinese now do we?
