Hacking Help with 3DS launcher for R4i Gold 3DS

hey guys i would like to ask if anyone knows if there is a launcher for the R4i gold 3DS (non RTS) cart from r4ids.cn. I tried all the stage-2 launchers available from apache and no one works, I get a white screen as soon as I launch the title of the launcher. My cart has the Metroid Demo icon and I use o3DS w/ latest Luma3DS on 11.6.

PS if I launch the cart normally, I also get a white screen.

Edit : I added a photo of the flashcart I am talking about.

Problem solved restoring the cart on my 3DS using ntrboot flasher and this backup. :yay3ds:

May be a silly question but do you have the firmware launcher for your card on its SD?

Yes, I do I use the latest wood provided in the site of the flashcart

I tried that too, without any luck though :/

Any chance I have to perform so update patches that are given in the site on an NDS? they are old though as I remember from the time they came out one of them was not for my type of cart ( C type) and I don't know if the ones that came later work with it.

Well I found an old thread talking about your same card and they say there are tons of issues with the "revision C" versions of these cards.

You shouldn't need a launcher for that cart. However there was a small hardware revision a couple years back that means with older carts you need to cut a trace on the PCB to get the latest update to work.

I saw that some needed a patch installed from a regular DS as well for them to work.... This card is crap Lol. No offense OP.

If the cart is on a really old firmware that's not compatible with his 3DS version and he's on OFW then yeah. But he's on Luma so it should work regardless.

White screen means the cart is launching and there's something else wrong. Are you using the latest Wood R4 kernel from their site?

Update your cart. I had the same issue, but when I restored someone else's compatible backup that had the "Dorasu" icon after NTRBootHax, it made the cart work. It never worked with the Metroid icon.

I used the cart last week on my NDS and it worked flawlessly with the latest wood kernel. So I don't think there's a wood problem. Currently I don't have my Nds, to try the upgrade patches provided at the site of the cart, only my 3ds. I will try them as soon as I get it and if that does not work I will try cutting the line mentioned. Is there a chance if I cut it, making the cart useless even on nds?

There should be no risk with doing that but you have to make sure to update it to the latest firmware first.

My faulty revision C card works with luma. It has the DORASU icon.

That is indeed worth a try, but according to Apache Thunder flashcart compatibility is not as good as he would have liked, meaning it may or may not work with that specific flashcart. That is likely why it's not advertised as a universal flashcart launcher, which from what I have gathered was its original intent when AT developed it.
But since OP's issue is with white screening and not the typical "An error has occurred" screen, I have my doubts that it will help.

I flashed the backup corresponding to my cart provided in your thread and when I insert the cart in the 3DS the system freezes immediately.I can't even check if the icon of the cart changed.Also, if I boot the 3DS with the cart inserted,it does not boot it freezes with black screen.If I boot without the cart inserted everything works perfect.So I guess if have to try restoring another backup (I have access to the Luma chainloader with or without the cart inserted).
