Can we get a mod to close this thread or something? I seriously don't believe that there is a point in arguing about if MCU bricks are possible or not, rather than solving the issue at hand. In fact, I still don't understand WHY everyone is arguing about whether MCU bricks are possible or not. In my opinion, they are possible, but very unlikely unless you purposely damage the MCU in some way, such as sending incorrect commands through the i2c to the MCU, and causing a intentional brick. In my opinion, Just post a video of your 3ds and attempt to power it on. Show the LED indicators and then we'll have somewhere to start and conclude if it can be recovered.

Edit: Forgot to mention, if the LED flashes then the 3ds shuts off, its recoverable by NTRBooting a hacked cartridge, and maybe installing b9s over whatever was there originally, then CTR transfer a working nand image, such as a 11.3 ctr transfer image, or later.
The problem is not my thread, but the user that have gone off-topic

I don't think the problem is my thread, but the off-topic
Yes, i stated that as "rather than solving the issue at hand"...
Also, could you test it and possibly record a video like mentioned? It would help alot with fixing your problem.

Umm, my arguing with another user was NOT off topic. It was arguing about whether or not an MCU brick could actually happen, which is a possibility of what your brick may be. What REALLY happened is that certain people's delicate, sensitive eyes, got upset they saw some hostile words being exchanged, so now someone wants the entire thread closed.... because that's not overkill. /s

I apologize if I offended anyone not included in the argument, but seriously. You'll live. Saying it was off topic is ridiculous. It was arguing, yes, but on topic arguing.

Ok, thank you. Sorry if I jumped to conclusions, but it sounded like that's exactly what you were complaining about. Just wanted to defend myself. Glad to know I wasn't just pissing everyone off.

hey guys, I also have a problem with my 3ds similar to this one. yesterday while playing, the 3ds just turned off, and since then, I cant get it to boot. if I power it on, the blue LED is on, for about a second or so, also the screen just for a fraction of a second blinks. after some heavy google search, most people say it's because it cant find the arm9loaderhax.bin, but it's definitely there. also I can't boot into luma or something with pressing start at boot. I don't even know which version is currently running, as I did the CFW quite some time ago, I guess sometime in 2016. if I had to guess I'd say its somewhere about 6.3.x.x version and there is a menuhax folder. the 3ds was on Original Firmware 11.3.x.x and worked fine since I configured it back in the day. I appreciate every tips you guys can give, as I can't figure out why it just won't work anymore. Also it didn't fall down or anything and I can't think of a reason why it stopped working.

Try another SD card with just arm9loaderhax.bin on it, yours may have gotten corrupted. Get it from Luma 7.0.5 at https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases

okay I have tried this, and now it shows a screen with text for just a brief moment, I did it many times to get what the text is about:

"if enabled SysNand will be launched on boot. otherwise an emunand will. Hold L to switch emunand. to use a different emunand, from default, hold a directional keypad."

but whatever I do, nothing happens if I push buttons on boot.

Ok, that sounds like Luma isn't working properly. A9LH is installled. On the new sd card, try replacing arm9loaderhax.bin (The one that you just put on) with one from Decrypt9bin or Godmode9.bin

unfortunately it didn't work, the blue LED turns on, but other than that, nothing happens when I put something other than arm9loaderhax.bin on the SD card, and rename it to arm9loaderhax.bin. And it doesn't boot something up without renaming the Decrypt or godmode either. but the SD card is fine, no errors detected with h2wtest

Hrmn... Have you tried using a boot.firm instead? You know, just out of curiosity. Its better to check if it has b9s too, lol
