Is it possible for these programs to be run as user instead of requiring admin elevation?
pushed both again to not require that anymore, just had to compile it with a newer msys version thats all. also the extra window it opened was because of permission too. Oh and for having it silent, you have to now call both with "-nc".

Is it me or is the latest version of Nintendont broken all I seem to get now is a black screen?
If you’re talking about 5.466 well random people are having problems, return to 5.464 and test it

How do i access nintendont's configuration inside injected games?
If you set the game autoboot you can’t , you have to boot in to vwii/homebrew channel/Nintendont to change the options

When you're injecting a Wii Homebrew boot.dol, you will be asked if you want to allow Wii remote passthrough. If you choose yes, you can use Wii Remotes alongside the GamePad when in GamePad mode. If you choose no, only the GamePad will be usable in GamePad mode.

Pretty much would always say yes to this option unless the -passthrough flag causes an issue with Homebrew.
What was the script's default setting for this before it became an option? yes?

I am having problems playing the installed files. Once I click on the game, it boots into the vwii, displays a black background with letters that I cannot make out, then it starts back on autoboot. Any ideas what it could be? I was thinking maybe the cios, but it autoboots it.

Its working with all games injected in different versions of the script.
Sorry I don't want to sound like a newbie to you but you mean it works with Gamecube/N64/PS iso/roms all from Nintendont, is that what you meant? I'm a bit lost I must of missed a big update on it explaining.

Thanks I will make a new Nintendont Channel up for the wiiu menu and have a look and see what it does. I presume all iso/roms go in the same folders on your sd card as before?

They mean that the bug was fixed with it not working with previous injected games it does not play any other games beside GC and trifroce

Both? What programs? Besides the patcher.exe what else is?

Sure it does! :D the only problem? game seems to go CRAZY if you boot it with Wii Mote and Nunchuck(saying no to use the gamepad when launching the game), it presses buttons by itself and moves the stick and you cant control it, unless you unplug the nunchuck and then plug a Wii Classic Controller.... maybe @FIX94 that's something that can be fixed?

(Me Myself I prefer RE4 Wii Edition with motion controllers xD)
Did you use the command -instantcc or did you use the GetExtTypePatcher to patch the main.dol? @FIX94 Is this behavior for Remote+Nunchuck expected for both options? Or does it only occur with -instantcc and not with the patcher?

Yo now that everything is fixed and we're all one big happy family here's a screenshot from the complete overhaul I'm working on, right now it's literally a form I made in visual studio that can't do anything right now but at least it looks the way I want it to :)

So does that mean games/forwarders made through the script before this update don't support using the wiimote alongside the gamepad in gamepad mode?

I don't know, I never used that for Homebrew I only used for the Nintendont forwarder and inject gamecube games

Did you use the command -instantcc or did you
use the GetExtTypePatcher to patch the main.dol?
@FIX94 Is this behavior for Remote+Nunchuck expected for both options? Or does it only occur with -instantcc and not with the patcher?
I didn't use the command, only the patcher.exe

I did comment on this already, those older games have a different detection method if a CC/nunchuk is plugged in and the fw.img cant handle it, so the GetExtType patcher forces the game detection to always see a classic controller to work around that issue. Of course, having patched it like that means plugging in a nunchuk in a real wiimote will still interpret the input as a classic controller which results in that random button pressing. -instantcc on the other hand is safe to use as it does not modify the game detection and just reports the status faster.

if the patcher worked then its required, you can of course always just install the game twice, once patched for gamepad, once for real wiimote stuff if you REALLY have to.
