GCIR - Gamecube Controller Input Redirect
Fully re-mappable GameCube controller to Luma InputRedirect Client.
Also supports remappable keyboard inputs.

Technically supports any DirectInput device (i.e. Windows joystick), or any device that PyGame supports (i.e. XBox 360 Controller), but is currently mapped for a USB GameCube Controller Adapter.

More info is available on Github.

just out of curiousity, can I use this on the go via luma only or do I need to always have my bulky laptop to recieve controls and etc.?
This is a Python program to send
button inputs from a controller over the network to a 3DS running InputRedirect. You need a device that can run Python and can support controllers, as well as an active internet connection in order to use this.

So no, you can't use this on-the-go with Luma only.
